  • This is my video of the Gillian’s Wonderland Pier carousel riding it. It is PTC 75, built in 1926 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. I filmed the video of the ride itself on the lead horse of the carousel. I got to go to Wonderland one more time before its closure in October to record everything and take all the pictures I needed to. Wonderland Pier is my first amusement park I grew up with and is the entire inspiration for my love of cartoons, carousels and band organ music. Thank you to the wonderful crew over at Wonderland Pier for making my childhood and helping me grow as a person. I will be seeking a way to have this carousel restored and moved to a nearby park so it can continue to thrill generations to come.

Wow, you get a really good, long ride on it! That's about how long I run the Perkasie carousel! I'm so glad you got to ride it! 🎠

I find it unusual how every single horse on this carousel is white!

@@CHERABBAGIRL26 I think they are all white because Roy Gillian wanted it easy to maintain.

@ That’s very interesting! He must’ve been inspired to style based off Disney!
