Hi, I'm an aspiring cartoonist and I'm a huge fan of cartoons, comics, carousels, mechanical music, animals, and aviation. This channel is just where I put my videos. You may know me as @cat_from_catoonsart & @catoonsart on Instagram.
I am currently working on cartoons for The Toppets. Other projects I have worked on are artwork & animations for the trailer of Snope: Welcome to Saukveil, The Merry Makers, Quirky Krew and a few other upcoming projects.
Stay tuned for some wonderful cartoons and movies coming up on this channel! As a whole, I call my series of upcoming cartoons The Catoons. I will not give any unaired cartoon names away. My friends and I are working really hard to present such passionate holiday movies and cartoons to you all.

This is the third episode of Kitty the Crafting Cat, my only puppet show on @thetoppets. The puppet used for Kitty is a 1950’s Steiff black cat puppet I got at an antique store for my birthday. She makes a customized paper trick or treat bag in this episode for Halloween.

I love those Silly Reindeer. They look like they came straight out of a 1950s Donald Duck cartoon.
@@ZakWolf Same here & they were designed by Disney animator Bill Justice in the early 1960’s. He worked on a few of the old Disney shorts in the 1950’s.

I found out in February, PETA wants to ban carousel animals. They They attacked Chance Rides and they claimed, "Animal-themed carousels unintentionally celebrate the exploitation of sentient beings. Don't get taken for a ride," ans they are saying that carousels promote animal abuse. They are straight up lying there, because carousels do NOT promote animal abuse, due to the use of fake animals. They said that carousels should quit using using animal shaped figures and start showing figures that "showcase human talent", and they said that Chance Rides should use carousel figures shaped like cars, spaceships, bulldozers, airplanes, and other vehicles, or more "whimsical" designs, such as rainbows, shooting stars, or brooms. No one riding carousels is telling people to ride real animals, and carousels DO showcase human talent. Whether carousel animals are made out of wood kr fiberglass, they still showcase human talent! Don't support PETA, and fake animals don't have feelings!
@@CHERABBAGIRL26 I never supported them. I do not support big corporate groups like that. There are always lies within them like that. Why are they attacking carousels? Carousel animals IS human art!

@@catfromcatoonsart I am a bit late to this reply, but they did it as a way to get attention, and you are right, carousels ARE human art, because most older carousels have animals that are hand carved, and the painting on them is also human art!

What animal were you riding? Carousels can sometimes have other animals besides horses.
@@CHERABBAGIRL26 Yes they can, I was on a pelican for that ride when I was filming. I rode it again on the Canada goose prior to this video.
@@catfromcatoonsart Those are quite some unusual animals for a carousel! I remember I saw a praying mantis on a carousel before!

What a beautiful piece of equipment. I really hope that you can preserve this wonderful carousel and re-install it where it may be experienced by many. I'm in Australia and you encourage me to visit a similar carousel at Luna Park in St. Kilda, Melbourne. To my knowledge it does have a playing organ inside. Wonderful memories of my childhood. Many thanks for the video.

As for this carousel I filmed, I’m going to see what I can do when I email a local carousel curator to help with its restoration and relocation. And I agree, this beautiful carousel was my very first carousel I grew up with and I’ll be sure to help rescue it!
