- I traveled to Ocean City New Jersey to visit Gillians Wonderland Pier, a very old local amusement park attraction that features a retrofitted Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theater balcony stage called the Man and Dog Show or Rocky and The Railroad Ramblers, enjoy!

I once saw a documentary made by the guy who restored the Man and Dog Show. He was a big fan of the animatronics, and he was delighted when he started working there, and they gave him permission to work on the show.
Apparently, the owner at the time forgot they were even there.
makes sense that they were restored i saw one of those "chuck e cheese rip offs" videos and it shown these bots but the dog and man were inactive and the rest moved at like 2 mph the entire time it was bad. nothing ripped but just so slow or off entirely
Yes, his name is Andrew, he still works there. One of his assistants, Dan was actually in the video. He the operator on the Ferris wheel
How unique! This place looks like so much fun. My dad was from around this area in his youth, I wonder if he ever visited this place?
As for the band, they look really good and perform INCREDIBLE! Considering the fact that they're a retrofit with their own shows, whoever programmed them did a great job.

I grew up going here around the 2004-2013 era. I’ve never seen these move. I didn’t expect the show to be so cute!

These animatronics were put in 1997 there from an old chuck e cheese pizza time theater that closed downnin 1986 after pizza time theater filed for bankruptcy.
They were put in 1993, not 1997

@@YCMjersey he said that he found footage of them singing from 1992, but I’m pretty sure that it was just carousel music, Also the managers said they got them in 1993, so I still stick by ‘93.
The PTT closed in 1984, reopened with new owners in 1985, animatronics were sold in 1989, then sold to Wonderland Pier in 1992

That other Amusement Park is Playland’s Castaway Cove. There are actually 3 roller coasters there. The largest of those that you see is called Gale Force. The Double Shot has been a very popular ride there for many years. The Giant Wheel you rode on has been there around 20 years; it replaced a similar one that was there since 1989.

You know what's funny. I always ran to the animatronics when I was a kid and I had no idea until I started doing these stage visit videos that people were scared of animatronics as kids and adults lol. But that's exactly where the idea for five nights came from. So it's a real thing and it's just a funny observation of different types of people when we're kids. Some kids run to the animatronics playing songs and some kids run away and hide in the arcade so they never have to look at them lol. It turns out my sister was scared of them too when we were growing up and I didn't even know that till recently 😂

Both actually, they were from a PTT but then it closed down and then they were at zack periwinkles. The panda (Rocky) was originally Zack

While you visit that I found an interesting Chuck E. Cheese with a studio c holo in Jackson Tennessee Studio C holo is another name for studio c cappa prototype and I thought you may want to see it because it’s the very first version of the studio c cappa stage and it’s also the last one in exsistence so I thought you would want to see it?

The Ferris wheel is new! They used to have one that looked the exact same but they replaced it. Honestly wonderland isn’t what it used to be. It’s actually depressing.

Hi chris have you heard of knoebels haunted mansion in Pennsylvania? Its a really cool place full of old-school funni frite animatronics.
Yeah it's definitely on my list to visit, it's just been hard to get there because they're only open during the summer and it hasn't quite fit into my work schedule 🙂
@SetsStreetsEats I understand and when you can visit that will be awesome. Also there used to be a place in Kentucky called guntown mountain and it had a attraction called the haunted hotel but sadly it's abandoned right now. Not sure if you're familiar with that place.
