My best advice would be to practice it slow at first, get used to hitting left right left right etc., then take it faster I learnt the hi hats from using my hands as a starting point, hitting my knees or my chest with my hands in a rapid motion translated to using sticks Keep at it and you’ll eventually get the hang of it!

How did you learn the hi hats? My problem is that my left hand can’t play as fast as my right hand, can you give me any advice?
