    I really want the rosewood- not sure its in the budget- but I love the look

    The rosewood is quite nice. Rosecraft does make a great knife for the money and I actually prefer to carry one over a GEC! The D2 is well done and holds a better edge than 1095. The one thing that I like about 1095 and other carbon steels is that it patinas.
