Then I started playing rivals and future Champs and was losing heavily most of the time. But when I adjusted to the 3 4 2 1 formation I managed 8 wins in rivals today. I’ve been using the 4321 defending in a 442 for a while now, but the past few days, my central CM seems to always play the RM role and my RM plays the CM role while defending, attacking is fine. The instructions haven’t changed so I’m not sure what’s going on
I think it’s something to do with the work rates of the players, had the same problem while using park ji sung, and he is H/H, try and change it up and see if it works, it did for me!
I realized what was happening was that as you place one of the forwards on come back on defense, it pretty much shifts the team to the side. So to fix this, just bring back the other wing instead, therefore, pushing the team in a way that it keeps the cms in the middle
@Amen Nope it's definitely something to do with the player. Literally just put KDB in that RCM and didn't change anything else and it's gone back to playing with Vieira going to defend the wing and KDB covering the centre

Went 9-1 with my normal tactics but my team started playing weird so I thought trying about new tactics but now I lost 3 games in a row because of these.
Probably first realistic comment😭 these only work for super good players/players who know exploits skills etc. I get to 11/14 wins usually in Wl with my tactics but as soon as I try someones else I get battered every time. 433(5)🐐

I'm so confused sometimes about the 4321. In the middle I hace Vieira Marchisio and KDB. Vieira and Marchisio ads my stay back CMs but KDB always defends the centre while Vieira goes over to the right and covers the wing even though he's on cover centre. It has to be something to do with the work rates because this used to happen, i changed the team and it didnt happen and then i changed it again and this problem happened again

Just practice skill moves in the practice arena and don’t take on too many at once. Just practice a few simple ones and slowly implement them into your gameplay. Ball rolls are good every year, stepovers are good this year. Both two star skills so you can practice them with anyone in your team
Does anyone know what he is playing as his base balanced formation? New to Fifa 23 and when setting these up noticed there is a formation I need to set for balanced aswell.
balanced formation doesnt matter because you'll be changing formation in game anyways. find any formation that will give you the most chemistry. hope this makes sense

Yeah, forward runs is when the team starts making runs in behind as soon as you get possession of the ball. Direct passing they make runs in behind when you have passed it around for a bit and work your way into the opponents half.
@@xonmybuckle you’re right. I have only lost one game since I started using the tactic. You just have to know which to use for the opponent you’re facing. I matched the person I lost to again and won him 6-2 with a different formation😂😂😂😂

I was struggling so much with the game .. players don't move , building attacks is so hard , players always standing in place and watching .... then i copied your tactics.. i went from division 9 to division 3 in a few days 😅

its very simple, both of ur cm and rcm are on stay back and cover center, so let ur rcm on cover wing so that doesnt happen
