Thank you Gust Hunter. Lanzarote is a beautiful Island with good surf (wind and golf) possibilities. The rescue boats are very helpful. When I was there they had to pick up somebody who was in real danger. Tough wind and in the black area, no chance for him to come back to the bay because of the strong current. They also have spotters on the beach to keep an eye on the surfers. Gave me a very safe feeling.
