I'm currently reading Relentless and Extraordinary. I have both study guides. When I tell you both of these books have me in awe of who God is! These two books are transforming my life in the way I see God. I encourage everyone to buy this man of God books. They are anointed by God. I'm literally reading scriptures which have given me a new outlook on how I see God and reverence His precious name. Thanks a lot Pastor Bevere.
I came back to Christ in early 2018. I haven’t turned away from Christ, but the church. The fence sitting and capitulation is disappointing. Its sad to say that I work in the world and know what to expect of it, but I find myself second guessing the motivations of church leaders.
There are churches though, that have not slipped down the mud slide. Find one. Blessings from South Africa.
My brother, I hear you. You are not wrong in your assessment, and most likely, in your experience, I, too, can relate. However, we must pray and ask God where He wants us to have fellowship and corporate worship and teachings because it is a part of His plan that we be ONE. The church, aka God's people/ the "body of Christ," are meant to work together. I have been so hurt by people who are believers and it took me a while to heal from that. God showed me He is working it out and we must remember nobody is perfect and there is no "perfect" congregation. BUT, there are "churches" that are humble and seek to worship God in SPIRIT AND TRUTH. This is what God is looking for. Pray about it, seek the Lord about His direction for your community. We are all flawed and need to help one another as each member of the body works together in ourselves, so it is with the church. Thanks for sharing your heart. Know you are heard and not alone, but God does have the answer, and he will make a way...
Remember Jesus strongly corrected 5 of the 7 churches in Revelation. The church universal is being purified for His coming. A spotless bride. Find a church that is checking most or all of the positive boxes (focused on Kingdom work, no spectators) and few to none of the negative ones.

There are so many people seeking God in the church, where are the workers?
Hey Brother Steve, the church is a place where terrible sinners are saved and join the body of Christ. We are all still being renewed in our minds. It takes some of us longer than others to come to certain revelations of how to love others. It’s true that we all hurt each other at some point. Please do not let the humanity of the church stop you from truly being part of the body of Christ. To be honest, we are all broken in many different ways, but if we keep forgiving one another and letting go of offenses, we can see Jesus shine in us like never before. We can grow too through hard times and relationships can strengthen in that kind of adversity. So if you have something against anyone, go tell them and make it right. Jesus tells us to do so. If they don’t receive it, then ask God to reveal the next step. I trust God for you that you’ll find a place where people can be honest and apologize for their mistakes and hopefully you can do the same too when that happens. Love you Brother Steve! 🩵

I went to bible college, I have been serving at my church since middle school, etc, but you truly helped me go deeper in my relationship with the LORD. The first message I ever saw from you was at JESUS Image. You were talking about the "Awe of GOD". After that, I continued to watch your videos throughout so many different seasons of my life, good and bad, and I have used the biblical knowledge that you have explained in order to educate other who are not believers. I appreciate you and your love for JESUS.

One Testimony…
I want to thank God first and honor the life of brother/pastor John Bevere. I am Hispanic born and raised on the island of P.R. AT the age of 27 I gave my life to Christ and experienced the new life Jesus gave me. It was an amazing encounter and still is. As a new believer I came across one of John Bevere’s books. Caught my attention by the title of the book “The Fear of The Lord”. The Holy Spirit introduced me to this book. I purchased it around the summer of 2002 and began to read it. I still remember to this day the experience I had (even pastor John is not aware of how many people he’s touching thru his writings, some he knows some he doesn’t) this is one of those testimonies he haven’t heard of. With this all I want is to give God glory and to honor pastor John. As I am reading the third chapter I believe is “The Sermon of the Universe” after he was writing about who God is compared to the universe. My mind went to the third heaven as I kept reading all about how powerful and holy God is and Learning about His creation. And after having my mind wrapped around God, In one of those pages (can’t remember the page #) of this book he wrote: “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? -Psalms 8:4. When I read this I literally felt to my knees weeping before the Lord. This experience was one of the first ones I had with Jesus as new believer. It felt as if heaven came down on me. I felt this unction and His presence all over me to the point I could not stop weeping and worshipping Jesus. I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me as a river of cleansing and of fear of the Lord. I could not stop worshipping and crying out. This happened in my living room and walked to my room where I always prayed and that presence followed me to my room. After some time maybe 30 minutes I went to take a shower and even in my shower I felt his presence so tangible. I was still crying and singing this Spanish song that goes like this: “There’s an anointing pouring all over me that is changing me and transforming me” then the chorus is: “My soul and spirit are filling up with the power of the Holy Spirit, my life will never be the same”. I remember this like it happened yesterday. My wife was grocery shopping at the time and she came home she saw my eyes and asked is everything okay? In which I replied with joy: “The Lord visited me”. And well this is my testimony to the glory of my Father in heaven and to honor pastor John for allowing God to use him in such tremendous way. I love you pastor John with the love of Christ. His books are highly and heavenly recommended.
