  • @user-cu4kk1yt3y
    @user-cu4kk1yt3y 4 месяца назад

    I have been fight this issue for weeks and today discovered why:
    I have a brand new pk80 and hasn't run right since i got it. Found seal behind magnet was bad, replaced it. But it will not go into "power band", it just dies or cuts out, etc. -
    So i have been noticing oil pooling up around the bottom of the spark plug. Decided to pull the head after doing a plug chop and i noticed 2 white spots on the plug cone. The rest of the plug with normal'ish looking covered with cocoa brown oil, etc. hmmmm
    Sure enough it has a crack right in the middle of the head that leads into the spark plug threads, etc. Really interesting part is that the piston was clean in 3 spots. 1 area by the intake side of the piston dome, and of course the same 2 more other spots that line up with the white spots on the plug!!!! This explains the crazy inability to "tune" these and they don't run right. Different carbs and jettings can be helpful, but won't fix it until you find the leak.
    rest of the piston cocoa brown to black carbon build up. Brand new engine, funky stuff... now i gotta gets me a head.
    Hope this helps anyone struggling with this issue. And this is common with the PK80 engines with that style of cast factory aluminum heads. Always do tear downs of these engines when new. Literally, cheack seals, true the moutning surfaces of the intake and exhaust, inspect seals, inspect for debri and so on.... the effort will pay off when trying to figure out why they don't run.... mine came with bad head and a wrongly wonky install seal.... can't wait to ride it, lol...

    No medir la cantidad de aceite que le hechas a tu gasolina podrías dañar tu motor pues estarías hechando de menos y eso sería letal para tu motor pero si hechas de más podría no afectar pero si afecta en realidad pues no quema todo el aceite de más que le pusiste y hace carbonilla y eso sí puede perjudicar la integridad del cilindro pues los pedazos de carbón pueden rayar el cilindro suerte con tu choper así es que se aprende haciendolo uno mismo felicidades por su canal

    I know what you'r idle problem is and it's not the carb . It's crank bearings and seals from running motor behond redline .if you read your book secont to last page 10 mph first 100 miles and no faster than 22.5 mph there after . 5000rpm redline half throttle run it wide open about 35 mph and 9000 rpm . You wore crank bearings out and crank seals are damaged . Pull mag cover off grab mag nut with plyers pull crank side to side if it rattles you ran the bearings out .

About
      to add a boost bottle see if there's any difference keeping my fingers crossed. Gonna switch back to my 36 tooth sprocket, was trying out a 28 tooth witch is great but sucks ass on hills i live in ny state we have way to many hills here!!!!

    Factory spark plug doesn’t work in a solid head it’s only for a jug with separate head you need a brigs and Stratton smaller plug the length of the plug delay’s the spark and the factory plug builds up carbon on the inside of the plug and that carbon falls out from inside the plug and that tiny peice of carbon can pre ignite slightly to early and make it rev like that because of the pre ignition it’s basically lightning fire when piston is at the very top or right before compression stroke it’s trying to push piston the opposite way because it is fireing slightly to early and carb keeps trying to ajust for it but it can’t i also use wires from a truck or car and cut them and screw them onto the cdi

      A lot of people have issues running them if they do the recommended break in just go less oil more gas turn your carbs adjustment screw about 12 times from the start of the threads and then tighten down all the screws on the carb and the inlet to the carb from the engine if that doesn't work then remove the head check to make sure it has a smooth surface and if not sand it down to a mirror finish the best you can don't go to deep or you risk ruining the head also cleaning up the case if it has imperections and getting a new gasket for the head should help other than that i personally run high heat 2 stroke oil to protect from high rev engine damage and that results in me having to run things more lean also it doesn't make too much of a difference but if you use high melting point grease for your moving and connecting points your less likely to have wear as often on important parts just remember if you do take my advice put pedals back on cause you'll need to get it up to speed before attempting to start it cause the high temp oil doesn't appreciate low speed combustion till its hot. Tighten daily and run it 9 months of the year and that advice should get you to 6000 miles if your careful and not using it as a drag bike
