I always thought it was important that Cipher (meaning both "zero" and "an enigma") would eventually hunt down his formerly-heroic wingman (who was an in-universe famed ace before Cipher even appeared out of nowhere) and stop him once and for all. That for all that people called Cipher "the Demon-Lord", in the end it was Pixy who decided to open his defection by trying to murder his buddy. And after it was done, Cipher vanished.

Fond memories of Pixy kicking my fucking ass on this mission. Oh, and, crashing into the walls of Avalon Dam over and over again.
So you found a reason to fight yet...buddy?
JESUS CHRIST!!! WHY CAN'T BANDAI NAMCO REMAKE THIS FOR PS4! Can't wait for AC 7, but REMAKE ZERO PLEASE BANDAI!
+Andres Rodriguez considering the architecture is much different from ps2 to ps4 it would be about as hard as making a whole new game. not worth it from a development standpoint.
+Diamond Blade They could at least remaster them... I totally would buy all of them.
And don't forget 5, that one was just as good too!
fuck it just have them release 4, 5, zero and even assault horizon remastered while were at it
For PC too please loved all of those cept assault horizon havent played it
Gods the Arthurian references in this game even up to the very end.
Avalon Dam
Morgan le Fay
Two knights [of the sky] jousting
THE VERY BEST! MAKE ME GET CHILLS! I still remember that fight
Recently before the global covid-19 pandemic I was in Spain on a cycling holiday and I had this playing on my phone and it was amazing.
The soundtrack to this game is the best ever in the whole of ace combat.
"Demon of the roundtable..i pray for your success"
