i am Romanian and have visited Peles Castle many times, but i never knew such details about it. I guess that with the public tours they dont have enough time to share all these delightful stories. Not even Romanian TV channels created such a thorough documentary on the subject. King Carol I built so many other great buildings in Bucharest (where i live), to the extent that what we consider today to be the most beautiful architectural creations belonged mostly to that era. He indeed brought immense contribution to the new Romanian country. One other thing id like to add - i visited many palaces in France, Italy, Spain, UK, etc, but whenever i come back to see the Peles castle again, i am still blown away by the breathtaking view that it shares over the valley when one first sees it coming upon the tree alley. It is a magical place, as if is was part of fairy-tales.

This is a spectacular series! It's got everything I'm interested in - history, politics, diplomacy, royalty, architecture and interior design.

I'm Romanian and I've had the luck of visiting Peles. It's the most beautiful building I've seen, but maybe it's just to my tastes. Definitely like it more than Schönbrunn. The interior is full of details and beautiful wood paneling, and it makes you want to spend time just figuring it out. Also, can we appreciate that they got Prince Radu here?

I visited Peles and Pelisor castles. I loved them. My video was viewed by many people but it was blocked therefore I needed to upload a new one. This video provides many historical information and reminds me wonderful memories.

Romania was one of the European countries I didn't get to see when I lived in Europe. I regret that to this day.

And other movies like The Brothers Bloom ((2009) and A Princess for Christmas (2011). Actually Hallmark filmed some movies with royals in Romania at different castles.

I know how, but I'm still thinking, it's really difficult to provide water rights to people in cities like Denver. Location and altitude! That's amazing, 90 years! The easements are part of trails which connect wilderness and allow for animals to migrate, these easements also have the pipes and pumps which assure that there is water available throughout the land, and they also have areas which are strips for bikers and joggers, these strips have fences protecting themselves from the wilderness trails, but you aren't supposed to see the fences from the easement, and where there easements intersect with state highways or cities, you have hospitality and small businesses along these parts of the trail, otherwise, you can bike all the way across the country and not have anything more than a rest area with a cold shower.

A doctor saying "oh i know IM right" when talking about a new thing/issue..
I wouldn't trust him with anything medicinal.
You can never be 100%, when we don't have any long term, properly done studies, we CAN'T know..
That comment shows his lack of insight into his own profession..

He was king, not prince. He was the second king, the first one was Romanian and had to resign because all political parties wanted him gone.
How can you be a historian and so clueless?
