  • In this video you'll discover the nootropic benefits of Magnolia Bark. Including why we use Magnolia Bark as a nootropic, recommended dosage, side effects, clinical research, and the best type of Magnolia Bark to buy.
Magnolia Bark comes from the Magnolia tree originally found in Southeast Asia, Eastern North America, Central America and the Himalayas.
Magnolia Bark was first recorded in the “Shennong Herbal Classic” from the Qin and Han Dynasty around 221 B.C. to 220 A.D. It was used to treat anxiety, asthma, depression, gastrointestinal disorders, headache, and more.
As a nootropic, Magnolia Bark is known for its anti-anxiety benefits and is used as an alternative to benzodiazepines.
And Magnolia Bark is also used as an anti-depressant. Studies have demonstrated the honokiol and magnolol found in Magnolia Bark help prevent decreases in serotonin in your brain.
There is also growing evidence that inflammation in the brain contributes to depression. Here again, Magnolia Bark has been shown to significantly reduce levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines; tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin 1β (IL-1β), and interferon γ (IFN-γ).
Today, Magnolia Bark is widely used to elevate mood, decrease pain, and improve immune health.
Neurohackers report that supplementing with Magnolia Bark provides an anti-anxiety effect within minutes of taking it.
Most say they feel relaxed and ready to sleep after taking Magnolia Bark. Using it as a sleep supplement helps them fall asleep faster and stay asleep throughout the night.
Feelings of anxiety and depression can be reduced significantly with Magnolia Bark daily supplementation.
Recommended dosage of Magnolia Bark is up to 500 mg per day. Effective dosage depends on the strength of the extract.

Been supplementing my child (diagnosed T21 - down syndrome) with Magnolia Bark for quite some time. Like that it's neuroprotective, and may also aide in sleep. I also give him Ashwagandha, although that I give earlier in the day. I frequently order both supps from Swanson Vitamins, and get free shipping when I buy enough items. Good prices there. Garcinia Cambogia really helped my son alot imo, as I started using it many years ago before it became popular. It's a mild appetite suppressant and like Magnolia Bark, it raises serotonin in the brain. People on anti-depressants should not take a supp that raises serotonin without talking to their pharmacist or doc first. My son eats a good deal of healthy fats each day, but his weight is healthy and normal. He's on a low sugar dietary plan.

I'll be testing that soon. I'm on a potent mixture of two antidepressants AND my pain meds are seratonergic so I have to test very carefully and watch for sweating. No sweating, no problem. I'll report back soon. I'm really hoping it offers a muscle relaxing and anti anxiety effect. Muscle relaxants are super addictive so a natural alternative would be great. They don't want to give me long term muscle relaxants because I'm a chronic pain patient so that's asking for trouble. I love finding my own treatments. I've discovered some super helpful things over the years I've been disabled. Always tested carefully and researched for interactions...

Who knew this beautiful tree had so many healing properties! What's your opinion on harvesting and making your own magnolia bark thee or a tincture? Do you have any recommendations? I have a row of magnolia trees growing outside my window. When the municipality trims them in the spring I'll try to preserve as much bark as I can.

Great question and I do not have any recommendations. Other than to try a search for "how to make Magnolia Bark tea at home" and variations on that theme. I'm sure someone has a blog somewhere on this planet who specializes in homemade natural tinctures.

I have seen reports of limited success with 100 mg Thiamine 3-times per day. If that one works then I suggest trying Sulbutiamine (ruclips.net/video/fDCrC2TJJ4I/видео.html) which is a fat-soluble version of thiamine that more easily crosses the blood-brain barrier.
And I've seen another informal study that showed success with a B-Complex supplement. If you want to try that one I highly recommend this BioActive B-Complex: amzn.to/3jNrt7P
