    I was at this gig.
    I remember me & my mate Rob Balmer were both laughing at the way Ian Curtis was dancing!
    We weren't being malicious or owt, we just thought he was funny (we were both just 14 year old kids at the time). JD definitely left an impression on both of us though.
    Great times. Can't believe it's over 37 years ago. Where does the time go?

    @allamovic yeah, the movie give's a little insight into their music but there's so many brilliant jd songs, but if i was to recommend a few i would say listen to these- atmosphere, ceremony (birmingham uni), disorder, dead souls, twenty four hours, the eternal, decades, heart and soul. there is more i'd put but this will give you a good insight into their quality of music.

    This pic is wrong! I was at this gig to see the Buzzcocks, joy division played in almost darkness! Top 3 of 900 gigs.........jam no 1 at same venue

    @ceremony thanks for reply! u might be right i cant say i know them well i just listened to one or two of their songs and i got that impression about them and the movie . maybe u can recomended me one of ur fav. songs for them :)

      It was..... I was their, The Buzzcocks were shite for the 1st 4 numbers, then turned it up a notch and blew the place apart!!
