Solid and valid review. This simulator had a brilliant start at the beginning. Today with mods system gives this simulator a limitless possibilities. However. The mods are not really that much. Most are just a copy of existing mods because many people just add a new skin to a mod then re-release the whole bus as a mod.
Most works related to bus features are done by mod creators. Such as daytime running lights you can find in caio scania k310 and rectangle underneath buses. Some even make features many people used to think impossible or too advanced. Such as active cluster display with gear or doors indicators.
Head over CR3D mods, Ago'Projects or Mossilva youtube channel and you will know better about what pbs with mods can offer

9:50 i think that is just how the developer of the bus tunes it and its unrealistic but you can customise to be like real life and the modded buses have the rectangle for shadow below
