A song first featured by Neil on Rutland Weekend Television in 1975. Neil plays Batman in this take on the campy sixties TV show ably assisted by Robin (Chas Lacey) & Batgirl (Angie Gold) as they set out to thwart The Joker (Terry Pearson). Fans of The Goodies please take note that Neil is riding their famous trandem bicycle in this clip. Filmed in Buxton, Derbyshire.
I have happy memories of filming this sequence - Neil Innes was an absolute delight to work with!
