    glad you told me about you getting mold trying to sprout your grain. I've been thinking I was doing something wrong. I've thinking of maybe putting a little solar fan to keep the air moving over my setup to hopefully cut down on the mold.

      Cameron spray it down with hydrogen peroxide/water ... 1:4 ratio.

    The occasional sweet smell is sulfur being oxidised.

    Can you use other things to ferment instead of the yogurt...like activated yeast or something?

      I know there some other stuff that you can order online. Not sure what it's called or how much it is. I just went for the simple way that I was taught.

      Live culture apple cider vinegar will work as well

    Which feed is more efficient? Fermenting the grains or turning them into fodder?
