Two questions. Do you have to use Crawl Control in L4 or can you use it in H4? How do you decide which speed of Crawl Control do you select? I am driving a 2022 FJ Cruiser
4H is generally fine for the sand. I only use 4L for this demo. I start with about 2/3 of crawl control. Make sure the steering wheel is turning easily. If not, the speed is too low.
It’s a 2019 model. I stand corrected, but I think this model was last updated in 2017. As far as I understand the FJ is only been sold in the Middle East. It is such a pity that it’s no long available in the USA.
@@kevincurrie9906 I think people in US worried more about gas milage which led Toyota to stop fjs in US, in middle east no fj owners think about gas mileage 🤣
Great informative video, an amazing function demonstrated by someone who knows what they are doing Can you do the same thing in a car without this feature?
You can use the same technique in most off-road vehicles. The advantage of the crawl function on the Toyota is the use of dynamic traction control and braking. This directs the right amount of traction to each wheel independently. To be honest it's the car that's the true hero. It will make the most inexperienced driver look good.
Hi Abdullah, Just a correction to your comment. The A-TRAC was not used in this demonstration. It was purely a demo on the Crawl Control. See below the RUclips clip by Toyota USA on the system. Take care,ruclips.net/video/mWcAOBu2-YA/видео.html
Don’t miss ‘Wooly bully’ 😂
Ai like the way those tyres and wheels don't catch any dirt 👌

I have a 2007 FJ, I wonder if I can do that process manually
FJ Cruiser is a dune bashing beast.
Is that in old USA model or only new
What year FJ is this? Awesome feature that I don't have on my 2010 here in the States.

Tire pressure reduced to 12psi.
I only ever see it work when going downhill.
What kinda voodoo is this?? I don't have this on my FJ. I want it!! 😂🤣
what button did you use is it the A track?
Crawl Control.
@@kevincurrie9906 thank you
I dont know if I believe that. Was there a slowly inflating airbag under that frame?
Soy un fan de Toyota
Cualquier vehiculo sin crawl control puede bajar en la arena dando marcha lenta solo por gravedad
India launched data
Fk best I have one 😂😃

@@kevincurrie9906 Hi I saw many clips of A track and crawl control and Im sure it wasn't crawl control.
I don’t think they were using the 4x4 😂
