Eleanor Bron still looking amazing after all these years. She's still immediately recognisable. I've just looked her up and she'll be 83 on 14 March so she was 77 when this film was made. Happy birthday Eleanor.

Actually, she would have been in her late 60s, as these 'making of' videos were cut in 2007, for the release of Help on DVD. Neil Aspinall, who also appears in this video, died in 2008, so it isn't from 2015, as you'd fairly assume. Still, she certainly looked amazing, I agree.

Amazing seeing this in theaters in 1965. It was a different time regarding media, you just didnt see your favorite stars all the time...in the US we really hadn’t seen them for ages, except in teen mags or record covers. I was born in 1954. I remember the 60s easily. Its the 70s that blew my memory. I was born in a small village in mid Wales. The towns and cities were kind of worn out and polluted . London still had war damage. The 60s was when the place became more affluent. We had nice cars and had a holiday in Europe and a Rolls twin tub. Cannabis seed came in big bags and my Dad fed it to his budgies. The M1 was the first motorway and no speed limit. We met Screaming Lord Such at a motorway caff. He was in a purple Bedford van. Lennon said he felt they were extras in their own movie. I’ve watched it twice and that’s enough. It’s not very good really. Only the songs. Especially George’s performance.

Some of the jokes are rather dated, but viewed as a collection of music videos , it's stunning. Love the sequence in the Alps with Ticket to ride. And Salisbury Plain is fun.

Yawn, that movie sucked bad. All they should've done was kept the cameras rolling as they were playing or practicing but music execs at that time wanted to see how many balls they could juggle at the same time and usually their efforts fell flat...mho

‘60s movies are annoying. Too much chaos, somewhat psychotic, loud,, and did I mention annoying? Such a weird time. The ‘50s were awesome, ‘60s prelude to ‘70s upheaval and then ‘80’s calm, ‘90s repeat of ‘60’s and so on. Great music from ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, same as movies. ‘80s not so much.

80s wern't calm. They had all that yuppy nonsense with excessive consumption in the city, and mass unemployment and pay freezes for the rest. Loved the 60s, such an optimistic time.
