You missed ‘Englishman in Russia’ - I think the ones like yourself who’ve learnt Russian and been there a significant amount of time are the ones that have the most genuine and real perspectives.
Thanks Sam for the shout-out. I really appreciate it. I take a lot of inspiration from your own channel at the same time. You were making videos for a lot of years before some of us came to Russia. I think of you as one of the OG English-speaking RUclipsrs.
I would additionally mention YT channel "Home in Russia" where an American family with 6 kids films their way for obtaining residence in Russia. Furthermore "Wild Siberia", "Survival Russia" could be added to that list...There is one more teeny tiny channel "English with Jack" runs by an American who lives in small town on Yamal peninsula and work as English teacher at a public school.

Brilliant Sam.. If I was in my 30's or 40's, I'd be heading to Russia, but as I'm an old fart now I have to be content with watching and learning about it from Guy's like you and those you have listed.
I watch them all. I started watching Wild Siberia when Dan/Ksenia first started and then I went to Kevin (American in Crimea) and then to Joseph Rose and the others. I love how they all find the positive and especially help those of us who wish we were there, see how they cope with the language, bringing money in, etc. Keep them coming!

Maybe there’s a back story that I don’t know and nobody cares about, but even if there is, this comment makes you sound bad. And from watching your videos I did not get that impression.

There's one more small channel I would recommend: "Canadian Living in Russia". The name speaks for itself. He has a family, and he showcases everyday life, food markets, shops, and how he cleans and transforms his dacha. For example, I saw a video from 4 months ago where he cleaned out a whole truck of old stuff and rubbish from his land, and it started to look clean and nice. In his recent videos, they went traveling by train from Khabarovsk to Vladivostok, both cities located in the very far east of Russia.
Pavel, when I look up Canadian Russia, only posts about countryside acres come up. Is that the exact name of the channel you are referring to? It sounds interesting and if like to subscribe.
Brits can be upbeat 😂. I have to say some of these RUclipsrs mentioned inspired me to start my channel. My girlfriend lives in Saint Petersburg. And I plan to move next year. What a great video. Awesome job 👏
Tim is funny he got really sour when he was on a live stream with expat American. He was annoyed because expat American is paid by a Kremlin media company and he was kicked off RT.

Thanks Sam for the tips of YT channels. I love Russell and have followed him for a while. Baklykov Live livestreams from a lot of cities and speaks English. I like Expat American also. I am not fond of Sibirian Freedom, they feel somewhat shady. And I don't like Countryside acres either, they seem to ride on others to get what they want. Sorry to say this about those 2 channels but it is my opinion. I will absolutely check out the ones I didn't know of. I have 2 suggestions that I like, Wild Siberia, an american showing his life in Siberia.And Real Reprter, he does really good videos about Russia.
I also enjoy expat American. As I mentioned in my comment, he introduced another channel recently, another Joseph (Joe). So far, I like his style also, no phony drama, and excellent content showing Russian culture, and history.

Из всех англоговорящих лучше всего на слух воспринимаю британцев. Думаю, это нормально, т.к. в школе и в университете был оксфордский вариант. Хуже дело с американцами и австралийцами. У меня ощущение, что у них жевачка во рту: говорят невнятно, глотают окончания. Самая беда в понимании африканских англоговорящих людей. Этих вообще не могу слышать Ну а когда на хорошем английском говорит русскиговорящий с пониманием проблем нет. Видимо, по одним учебникам учились :)
@@Vit451я из Англии и моя русская жена говорит наоборот - американский акцент намного легче понимать, и акцент британцев не понимает) Ну ещё говорит что британцы разговаривают с таким сумасшедшим и наигранным выражением, и ещё интонация постоянно туда-сюда, и из за этого их почти невозможно понять (ну я с ней согласен что девушки реально разговаривают как сумасшедшие 😂) И американцы более монотонно и спокойно разговаривают, поэтому так легче. Но лично я не особо люблю американские акценты

There are so many good suggestions in the comments. Hopefully you can make part 2 and 3 of this video. Also maybe different topics such as art in Russia, music in Russia. Music and art schools in Russia are very advanced. Will be very interesting to see the differences. Also sport activities, how Russian athletes get their training. Maybe even simple Russian language lessons for English speakers. There's so much to show in Russia because it's different than anywhere else.

What a great video and I will check out some of them. "Sam's" was my first experience with an "inside Russia" type video so I will try to remain faithful👌and watch them all and leave an algorithm comment, although there is usually something always comment worthy. Actually Sasha. Wets Russia has a lot of subscribers, she’s only been creating content for 6 months or so. I’m sure her channel will become very popular. Her content is very professional, being a Russian allows her to communicate well with everyone and she is also very beautiful.
Eli from Russia is missing! Great channel, showing all kinds of landscapes and places (even the little known treasures) and traditions, really fun to watch and she puts a lot of effort into every video, often travelling to some remote areas.

There is a channel on RUclips of a Frenchman who is married to a Russian woman and lives in a Russian village and runs a channel in French. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the channel. The author of the channel is about 50 years old.
@naturaamare. 💢 it's called VILLAGERUSSIE. He's was a policeman in his previous French life. I watch his videos every morning. He feeds the chicken, the cats and dog, the goats then gives us some news. He knows people connected to the sol di ers. They just found in a town recently conquered, 3 young women attached to beds who served as s e x slaves to ukr fighters. Deeply traumatic, as one can imagine. He posted a vid on wok ism yesterday, which was taken down and demonitizzed by the usual suspects. He has to watch every word. They even demonetizzze him for cursing!!

Из всех англоговорящих лучше всего на слух воспринимаю британцев. Думаю, это нормально, т.к. в школе и в университете был оксфордский вариант. Хуже дело с американцами и австралийцами. У меня ощущение, что у них жевачка во рту: говорят невнятно, глотают окончания. Самая беда в понимании африканских англоговорящих людей. Этих вообще не могу слышать
Ну а когда на хорошем английском говорит русскиговорящий с пониманием проблем нет. Видимо, по одним учебникам учились :)

@@Vit451я из Англии и моя русская жена говорит наоборот - американский акцент намного легче понимать, и акцент британцев не понимает)
Ну ещё говорит что британцы разговаривают с таким сумасшедшим и наигранным выражением, и ещё интонация постоянно туда-сюда, и из за этого их почти невозможно понять (ну я с ней согласен что девушки реально разговаривают как сумасшедшие 😂)
И американцы более монотонно и спокойно разговаривают, поэтому так легче.
Но лично я не особо люблю американские акценты

Also maybe different topics such as art in Russia, music in Russia. Music and art schools in Russia are very advanced. Will be very interesting to see the differences. Also sport activities, how Russian athletes get their training. Maybe even simple Russian language lessons for English speakers. There's so much to show in Russia because it's different than anywhere else.

Actually Sasha. Wets Russia has a lot of subscribers, she’s only been creating content for 6 months or so. I’m sure her channel will become very popular. Her content is very professional, being a Russian allows her to communicate well with everyone and she is also very beautiful.

Dan lives and works in Mexico. He told me that he was only here as a tourist.

It is clear that there was some misunderstanding and\or misinterpretation. I can't see why Sam would have any motives or malicious intents to spread misinformation (especially in presence of other major expat youtubers here.) ...unless there's any beef between you two behind the screen... Anyway, it would be better to talk behind the screen and ask to correct the info than just throw insults in comments like a kid in a kindergarden :-/

Finally, you come to your senses...like I've said, truth is what pays the most in the end; I follow some of them, those whose personality I appreciate more, 😮 but also some French ones, since I am a French native as far as language is concerned. I try to click on thumbs Up as much as possible and share as much as possible, it's the minimum one can do to help....
The language of truth is the language of dignity. Just avoid being censored for being too direct.

There is a channel on RUclips of a Frenchman who is married to a Russian woman and lives in a Russian village and runs a channel in French. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the channel. The author of the channel is about 50 years old.
@naturaamare. 💢 it's called VILLAGERUSSIE. He's was a policeman in his previous French life. I watch his videos every morning. He feeds the chicken, the cats and dog, the goats then gives us some news. He knows people connected to the sol di ers. They just found in a town recently conquered, 3 young women attached to beds who served as s e x slaves to ukr fighters. Deeply traumatic, as one can imagine. He posted a vid on wok ism yesterday, which was taken down and demonitizzed by the usual suspects. He has to watch every word. They even demonetizzze him for cursing!!
