Sharks should have at least 15hp or cost 5stars as these units are going to be some of the first you invest in, and have to be worth it for researching the tech and training the unit. They should also create some sort of unit that floods tiles when moved like Polaris, as the flooding system is too janky and slow. This unit can be in navigation, as it would be a quite strong and useful unit. Here is an idea . It floods an area of the 3tiles in front of it, has 10hp, 1 defence, 1 attack, 5 stars. It only floods the first 3 tiles in front as a 3by3 radius would be too overpowered and make land expansion a lot easier and quicker, but would be too advantageous as that is a lot of tiles which will be hard for opponents to deal with OR . Same as above, but 8 stars and floods all around
15hp lol no wayy tooo op, theyre only slight bit better than rammers and rammers cost 7, and while defender in rammer would be similar, they need multiple techs, and disembark when seiging/killing land units, and require ports
They are balanced, they are rammer that dont disembark. But if i would have to I would give them the SNEAK ability, I mean they are shark it makes sense that they can go under and over ships unbothered
I've got some problems with this. Yellybellys should have 15h and maybe the radius of their damage gets expanded after 4 turns. There isn't a unit that could counter bomber/catapult and rammer spam. The flooding mechanic is okay but needs its own custom graphic where the original tile is under the waterline. There needs to be a more effective way to flood tiles without emulating Polaris too much. Most of the units that it can place on the water are simply outclassed by a normal navy, especially in terms of movement. I think it needs a lot of work.
How are sharks bad when thay have the same stats as rammers Rammer need the same tech And 2 stars for the worrior+5 Sharks need 8, but they don't need ports , also they're good to go as you make themw they don't need time to put them in a port and upgrade They cannot be pinned (port pinning) they can heal in the water and upgrade unlike rammers they can only upgrade on land (veteran warrior) and they don't disembark when they siege a costal city I think that's enough for one star
same also sharks don't turn into whatever unit you use to upgrade a rammer whenever they kill things on land, that and they can also be veterans so you save stars overall
they are more expensive than rammers (ports are also good for upgrading cities as they often give 3 population for 7 stars) and rammers can get 15hp for 8 stars when using shields, as well as rammers having strong effective support units like scouts while tridentions are on the other side of the tech tree. Sharks aren't bad, just underwhelming for "the water tribe"
Cant wait for the update on mobile. I was wondering. Climbing is a tech that you dont use with aquarion to slow in my oppinion. If you could make it submerge terrain and if you capture a town after that some terrain will become water. If you go futher the tree and go for mindbenders they can flood a bigger peace of terrain than regular units cant. This will make flooding a thing aquarion would love to do and effective. Its now to slow to work good. Its just a thought. 😉👍 Keep up the good work.
11:30 aquatism giving movement bonuses would be a pretty interesting idea to see but wouldn't it be an overkill? coz like.. giving defense and movement at the same time would be quite OP
Idk if it's a bug or a feature, but if you play in Archi Polaris vs Aquarion, the Aquarion tile that's flooded can't be frozen to ice, they just become a land tile. I feel it's pretty damaging considering Polaris need ice for movement, outpost, and ice bank

Do hope they take a very good amount of time into this rework.
they will take their time

The cities from ruins are only from ocean ruins
Blueberry
Weed Batman
aquarion units should be able to harvest starfish the turn they move to it
the reason why the ruin at 1:14 doesn't turn into a village is because it's to close to the village in the fog 2 tiles southwest
correction: it didnt turn into a city because its on land, not in the water
