Bro! I had this monitor since 2018 and the settings listed in the video are a straight game changer. Went from grayed out to actually seeing color on my screen haha thank you!
Tip for anyone with this monitor set Response time to NORMAL using Fast or Superfast will add terrible ghosting, what this setting actually changes is pixel overdrive and the fast and superfast settings overload the pixels creating trailing. Don't know why they called this "Response time" and it's just marketing bullshit. If you want to test this yourself you can use the monitor UFO test online set it to superfast and you can see the trail then set it to normal and you will see it will be much clearer and no trail.
True but in games like Apex Legends you cant play on normal not even on fast, you need that fast reaction time thats why im gonna sell this shit monitor and buy xl2546k with Dyac, a few days ago I ordered
My friend just bought an LG OLED AI Thin Q 65CX. CAN YOU DO A VIDEO OF professional calibration for that model? I still have my C7 LG AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO YOU MADE a LONG TIME AGO FOR IT. My settings for my C7 are always on the professional calibration mode settings you mention in that amazing video. 🙌🏻 Thank you
After the color changes, all the blue in my pc became purple.. like discord for example, and its too dark becuase of 33 precent brightness, why is that?
@@gokusgames maybe you haven't reset the original settings but you have to understand that some panels have being variance that similar calibrations won't work on it. So maybe yours is one of those. Good thing is that you can always reset them again.🙂 No harm done
So I have this monitor and I use it for my PS5. I mostly just play GTA 5 until I get my PC built, but as for now what are the best settings for low input lag? Should I keep the response time on normal or super fast?
I wouldn't know unless I see it, but Sometimes when it flickers is because of the port connection. I would only suggest that you change cables and see if it stops flickering.
I have the Same Problem. After Setting the rgb on Game 1 the Brightness and Contrast Go back to 75. Should I put them back to 34 and 61 or should I leave them at 75? And when I apply those Settings the screen looks a Bit greyish

Unfortunately I do not have the display anymore. That gain, offset options are meant to be calibrated for darker scenes and brighter scenes apart and it creates even better results.
Hay dude, quick question I have this monitor the older version (2017) if I was to do this calibration say I did it from factory default the dynamic contrast is on by default, do I turn that setting off for this calibration? Also do you know what this monitors colour range is because I’m using it with my new series x and want to know if I should set the console to standard or pc rgb meaning full? please get back to me
That's weird because enabled dynamic contrast raises input lag. Also you can choose whichever, it's a monitor so setting it on RGB wouldn't be wrong since most monitors are set by default on RGB color range. But for this video you should just do it the same way it shows.
@@JMasterMindC it's your decision but remember that games are set and created to be enjoyed in the recommended mode but if you have a monitor where you're gaming then you can try it and if by chance you think that the blacks are getting more crushed then you can always go back to recommended settings.
