Yep! I've accumulated all of these instruments over the past 6 years or so. I love experimenting with different tones, so instrument collecting has sort of become a hobby for me.
Thank you so much! I saw a recorder keyboard in someone else’s video but I had no clue what it was. I own a melodica but I knew the flutey sound wasn’t something a melodica did so I was really struggling to figure it out, thank you
I have heard of the melodica, but not a recorder keyboard before. Cool! All he needs now is the snoot flute that he would have to play through his nose...
The fact that I had a permanent smile on my face throughout this video is a testament to kirby games’ joy bringing capabilities and your skill at portraying that childlike wonder we all got from them. Thank you sir, you’ve revived my childhood
"There he is! He's the puffball we call Kirby, and Dreamland is the land he defends. Isn't he cute? He's so cute! But he gets a little burpy because he devours all his friends. Kirby's got a eating problem."
It'zMrSkeleton if I saw Kirby running I'd probably say, "Quick, shit your pants if you can, also pee, please! Better stop, poop, and roll 'cause he won't eat ya whole if ya smell like a fresh batch of feces!"
Thanks! I get a lot of my instruments from Amazon, although I've also ordered a few instruments from eBay. The rest of them come from Guitar Center and other local music/toy shops.
That's an Andes 25F made by Suzuki. It's a "Recorder Keyboard" that has a series of pitch tubes inside of it. It's the same instrument that Hirokazu Ando plays on the Kirby's Epic Yarn OST!
Matt 'n' Pat are two friends who play together learning and sharing and junk one is nice and the other one is less nice so who couldn't love Matt 'n' Pat Best friends play together.
I always enjoy your arrangements for a multitude of reasons, chiefly because you arrange in a way that I currently can't (multiple instruments you play yourself) and your arrangements never feel stressful or, for a lack of a better word, "intense". Every time I listen to your work, I always become very pleasantly relaxed and engaged in your instrumental choices.
the instrument that starts playing at 0:43 sounds perfect for this song and gives me goosebumps everytime, you are awesome man! thank you for this video.
I love the way each track makes an entrance in the video and how you bring out the character of each track/instrument. Its like they are all characters who join in on a quest as it progresses. Is cool ^___^
waw ! super good job ! you really managed to respect the intonations and the phrasing to give back the energy of this music, so it doesn't sound like just a succesion of dull notes like in some other covers. And thanks to give the mp3 away :)
God, I love the soundtrack for Epic Yarn. great use of "toy/fun" instruments, and just all around fun to listen to, regardless of the tune. and, really, both the ST, and this song, specifically, are PERFECT for your channel, dude. x3
It has been amazing to watch your videos progress. Watching your instrument collection grow, seeing those old instruments coming back again and again (the tambourine XD), the whole thing has just been amazing. Sorry I missed seeing you at Magfest. Keep up the amazing work!
I don't think it's fair to say one takes more talent than the other. It is two, very different, and highly talented approaches to similar styles of music. I would rather say that these videos are exceptional, and I admire PPF's drive to learn the instruments. SMG's videos are what led me here after all.
Gabriel, I always love your music and I've somehow become a fanatic fan of your music xD But this video specifically, I felt you could have done a lot more with it. Thinking about it a bit more, you could have also gone the more simple route since it is a child-like Kirby, but I don't know anything because I don't have any views xD I really liked the melodic creativity around the middle. Keep up the good work!
This is from Kirby green greens so PPF you guys did a really great job on this music instrument collecting has not been too bad right I hope I get to hear you guys some more of my favorite songs and pieces of music music these different composers like Koji Kondo
Great cover! You did an amazing job in my opinion. And by the looks on the comments, you do care about your audience. Thanks for taking your timw on this. Btw that name....

Same. I can't play all of them well, but I love to collect them and play with them.
What instruments do you have?
I have heard of the melodica, but not a recorder keyboard before. Cool! All he needs now is the snoot flute that he would have to play through his nose...
Epic yarn was *extremely* underrated
It was mine and my brother's childhood
It was epic XD
But my favorite part is throwing the bosses to the walls
I agree
It’s a nice wind down game before bed
0:43 kirby says hi! so cute!!!!
I live for this part
an incredibly underrated youtuber, this is a great cover.
The fact that I had a permanent smile on my face throughout this video is a testament to kirby games’ joy bringing capabilities and your skill at portraying that childlike wonder we all got from them. Thank you sir, you’ve revived my childhood

Poop Poop F-Art!
Ah, someone suggested that before, and I always forget to actually do it. I'll update the description in a bit with an instrument list!

The composition, editing, musicianship - all sublime, as always. You have the best vgmusic channel there is!
So true, I was just marveling at how amazing the videos as well as the music are. You are awesome, pooppoopfart

Raptor Dave I sent an email to the SBF email with a link to this. Do you know if they ever talked about it on the podcast or in some video?
wurzzzz
Not from what I've seen, but I don't watch everything.
The hypest recreation on RUclips!
The sheer variety of instruments used in Kirby music has always made me love it more. And you met that challenge perfectly. Very well done!

Eres el mejor haciendo covers de la saga de Kirby. La verdad es que nos haces volver a ser más jovenes cuando escuchamos estos covers en tu canal.
I just noticed that he has a poster of Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" on his wall.
And just when I was thinking he couldn't get cooler.
Such a mad lad!
It looks like it's signed too!
THE HYPEST THEME ON RUclips
Woolie stole this song.
Aww fuck Yeah America!
They stole this song because they're major Canadian pot heads.
I was such a huge babby when they broke up.
You, sir, are one of the most musically talented individuals I have ever had the pleasure to view and listen to. Kudos to you!
I love the little extension to the theme that Epic Yarn introduced. Great work!
I always enjoy your arrangements for a multitude of reasons, chiefly because you arrange in a way that I currently can't (multiple instruments you play yourself) and your arrangements never feel stressful or, for a lack of a better word, "intense".

Dude, if I was told this song was on the Kirby's Epic Yarn OST, I would've believed them
Awesome cover!
Undoubtedly one of the best cover ever.
Awesome work, please carry on !

You have not lost your touch, at all!
Seriously, you're probably one of my favourite people on RUclips, and I don't see that changing any time soon!
I love the way each track makes an entrance in the video and how you bring out the character of each track/instrument. Its like they are all characters who join in on a quest as it progresses. Is cool ^___^

Amazing job, your videos keep getting better every time. I thought the very close-up shots look fantastic!
God, I love the soundtrack for Epic Yarn. great use of "toy/fun" instruments, and just all around fun to listen to, regardless of the tune. and, really, both the ST, and this song, specifically, are PERFECT for your channel, dude. x3
I thought "Hmmm, this sounds like straight from Epic Yarn", then when the whistle came in I realized this was based on its arrangement. Amazing work!
It has been amazing to watch your videos progress. Watching your instrument collection grow, seeing those old instruments coming back again and again (the tambourine XD), the whole thing has just been amazing. Sorry I missed seeing you at Magfest. Keep up the amazing work!
Wow your the first person I've seen to ever to a proper cover of this version of the song! Great job!
This brings joy to my heart
So good! I love the little liberties you took with the harmony.
DUDE I finally understand what you meant about the pitch shift at 1:37 XD That's great.
That melodica tone is absolutely spot on
This very well may be my favorite cover of Green Greens ever. I'm sad I've only just now found it.

This just filled me with joy.
Really great job! I'd love to hear a cover of Ishikawa's Grape Garden too.
This is so wonderfully done. You're an inspiration to me.
you deserve standing ovations, dude!
my heart went from solid state, melted to liquid state, broken down to gas state, and now on its way to plasma
my favourite instrument was the kirby plush, superb sound
Thumbs up for keeping the Kirby sample in your cover :D
Gabriel, I always love your music and I've somehow become a fanatic fan of your music xD

Wonderful as per usual. Love it.

Freaking brilliant
