True that Hindus do not know our numbers. A Single " Hindu mass rally " to free temples in all lndian cities can change Hindu's attitude and fate for ever. It will be an answer to all who say Hindus are not united. It will have global Media coverage as the first all-Hindu event in history and may even make its way to the Guinness book as the biggest ever rally ! We should ensure that every A , B , C tier city in India and possibly even abroad is covered and that every Hindu sabha including " Tribal " Sabhas, Sanyasi Sabhas etc. are included. The temples are to be handed over to a committee with representation of all Hindu Sabhas .
We should also take the opportunity to tell the world that we are proud bearers of not just the only living ancient civilization (Hinduism) but also the world's most rational darsana (" religion " in Abrahamic terms) , Vedanta . Too many forces are trying to teach us we are just a culture or way of life and have no particular religion so that they can convert us to their idiotic philosophies . Enough is enough. Vedanta is supreme and we know it!
Such a rally would send a very loud socio-political message not just to BJP but also to the world including missionaries and j'h*d's as well as ourselves on how strong and united we can be if required !

Not too tolerant but too indifferent. Also, caste is the defining economic unit of "hindu" system. An individual interacts with most others (most interaction is with fellow Hindus of other castes) through his caste, lives among them, marries within caste, fights for caste based rights, has culture tweaked as per caste and votes as per caste. U see real unity in india is caste based n not religion based.
In cities, interaction is with fellow Hindus n BJP usually does vry well whr ppl interact with religion more than they deal in caste, besides other factors (like more education, more concern for national development etc)
Get the embassies to treat Indians and Indian origins with respect and affection whatever the problems. Getting a salary to do the job with all its problems. Hope Air India does a better job and we all flock back to use it.
