I love mixing my Salsa and Country 3 Step (intermittently) I've never really focused on the mechanics of the turn but just kinda done them with "flow." Thank U, u guys R AMAZING!!!
A lot of things will cross back and forth between salsa, two step, and wcs. You only have 2 hands and 2 feet... only so many things you can do lol

hahahaha, I had to come back to this video and tell you that I showed this to my husband. Remember -I'm recovering from knee surgery. Doc said no dance for 4 months. So hubby says sit on this rolling stool and hold my hands and starts to learn how to do the illusion turns.
I told him he was gonna have to take my sewing mannequin and mount her on the rolling stool. Make her some arms and practice with her :)

Do you have any video clips doing the Illusion Turn when dancing the ECS? I'm struggling!!
We don't actually have a specific video for this in ECS, but it's pretty much the same idea.... try starting in a double cross hand hold facing each other, then do the first triple step before starting the illusion turns.
The easiest place to add this would be at the end of the dance. Think of it as The Fabulous Flourish to Finish!
You could do it also do it at the beginning. There’s often an intro to the song before the stronger, more danceable beat gets going.
