Shamefully spent the better part of yesterday morning trying to figure this out before giving up hahah. I (and more importantly , my significant other) thank you for your service.
I didn't have a water pick but I did have a tiny brush for cleaning metal straws and it fit right up in there perfectly. Thanks for posting this solution.
Excellent posting. One thing I did differently was to used canned air to blow out the holes. The straw furnished with the can had an opening just the right size to align with the hole openings. Blow from both sides, but be sure to have a paper towel or rag handy to catch the burst of coffee grounds. I then ran through a partial pot of water without coffee as suggested. Thanks again for leading us in the right direction. FYI: We love our Ninja!
Had the same CL08 error with no water pumping and lots of noise, and this fix worked perfectly! Using the water pick was a great idea! Thanks for posting!! 👍👍
Omg you’re a life saver!!!!!!! I use “clean” option and waited for 90++ mins for it to be finished! But after that still not working! It’s now afternoon and I still haven’t had my coffee!!! Huhuhu… So I googled and found your video! Tried poking those holes and got some stucked coffee granules on it… there were some left but I couldn’t remove them anymore so I tried making some coffee anyway… and voila!!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!
I'm happy to say I fixed mine the same way also! There were grounds clogging the needle that punctures the k-cup. I used a small plastic syringe to spray inside the needle cavity. Running a 'clean' cycle now. The machine is again pulling water from the reservoir. Thanks for the great tip!
This happened to us this morning. Glad you posted your video. Was able to clear mine with a toothpick and ran some water through it. I also found no way to remove the piece from the lid.
Thank you!! You saved my coffee pot! I took the rubber gasket off from around the neck of the needle. Then I used a can of air and sprayed around the needle. It actually shot some clogged grounds out. Worked like a charm!! Thanks again!! 😊
OMG. Thank you so much. I just couldn't get mine to work either. I was getting ready to trash it when I came across your video and tried what you suggested. It worked. Now I can have my coffee again . 😊
Awesome thank you so much, this happend to me this morning and I would never have thought to look at the needle for the reason of the clog. I was looking at the water entry point. Thanks again
I had the same issue but I used a toothpick to remove the coffee ground of the coffee needle. I also took the rubber around the needle off the needle to clean it since it was also covered with coffee ground. Thanks so much for the help😊👍!!
We had the same problem with ours and we really didn't believe this would work but we did it anyway and it worked. We took a shower from the water pick but it was worth it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this. I had only brewed around 10 cups before mine did this. Your video was my last hurrah before I threw the machine away. You saved me some $$$. Many thanks!!!
Thank you for posting this, we were about to buy a new one. We had a “add wtr” code and It fixed ours. We took off the rubber o ring which gave us more visibility of the plastic needle. We didn’t have a water pick but we poked a small hole in a water bottle and that worked just fine. We also used a toothpick to break up the grounds that were far up in there. It was honestly a two minute fix once we realized the problem.
Not all heros wear capes kind sir 🙏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽 well done. Lightly shoved a very pointy set of eyelash tweezers back there, flipped on the “clean” mode as that’s the only thing working but finally it’s pouring water!
Thank you, same issue different fix. I took a twist tie, burned the paper off an inch of it, poked it through, knocked the debris free and then ran the maker without a pod as you suggested. Water pick is a good idea but seemed like a PITA to move the maker where it's located.
There is a rubber seal around this needle (in the upper part). It may be worth removing it, then breaking the integrity of the coffee grounds that have clogged the needle and starting the cleaning cycle (button in the lower right part of the control panel)
Thanks. I have this exact model and after using it for just a few days it's already clogged. Is this needle a design flaw for Ninja? No one ever cleans the Keurig at my work and it's never been clogged. I used a thumbtack. I had to push some grounds out, run water thru it, push more out and run it again. It's flowing well now.
good advise thanks, but anyone else have this problem yet? my pb041st ninja stopped working with the pods, but it will still brew with the coffee grounds, customer service says it needs a new pod adapter, they will send one since Ive only had it like 45 days have not even used the pods 50 times yet, I use the brew basket 95% of the time

Canned air 100% worked for me. Thanks for posting this!

Very helpful! Thanks for posting. Fixed mine in just a few minutes after watching your video.
Perfect suggestion! Worked and I held a towel behind the needle. Surprised by how many grounds there were and how much better it’s working! Thank you!
My Keurig never had this issue. Barely 3 months in, and CL09???
The Ninja blender is great. They should stick with that.

Big help thanks, my wife was really disappointed she couldn't have her coffee. Thanks a bunch.

You, sir, are a genius. Thank you!!!

Thank you thank you!! Was pulling my hair out. Ran the clean cycle with vinegar several time to no avail. This worked like a charm.
So happy you posted this video ! I had the same issue this morning and your solution solved it 🙌🏻 so grateful! Thank you 😊

Thanks. Had same issue. Running the clean cycle now. Would not have thought grounds would be jammed there.
Thanks! That brought it back to life after a couple of failed cleaning attempts.
Thanks , wondering how to get mine running again
Thank you! It worked. Life saver...need coffee.
Thank you! This worked after an hour I tried before watching 😊
Thank you..... the water pick worked great for me!
Thank you!! This helped and fixed my problem!!!
