In my opinion, Alphaville is one of the most underrated bands ever, and even if they have reached success in the '80s, I think that they deserved (and still deserve) a wider acknowledgement of their genius. The "Forever Young" album was, in my opinion, far ahead of its time, but many people disregard it because they think that it's just a cheesy bunch of pop tunes from the '80s. I think it's simply revolutionary.

1st heard alphaville in germany 1983 , instantly luved their music . Was in a german club after the berlin wall came down and my new friends from the east danced with me to their music.. memorable .

I heard this wonderful song on the car radio when a car crashed into mine. It was in 2003 here in Germany. Gladly no one was hurt. But my car was damaged and I had a shock. However, I love this song very much! :-)

You know you like a song when the extended version feels too short... Each time I hear it, something happens within me. I have not had a very difficult life, honestly, but being a young teenager (literally) sometimes felt hard in those much vaunted 80s; such a piece of music really helped, I guess...
