I love ❤️this channel more than Netflix.
Me too!!!
Me too!
Yesssssssssss
Best comment...👍 I agree.
The best
I’m not a huge coffee drinker but I have used K cups. I didn’t think about the heat through aluminum and plastic. Thank you as always, Bobby!
Yes I question that because the machine pokes a hole through the aluminum and pour water through there. I don’t see how it’s hitting aluminum.
@@adril.857it's the hot water hitting plastic that matters. Very very bad, basically eating the plastic .
Best coffee comes at the birth place of coffee, Ethiopia. Go to Ethiopian restaurant and ask for coffee ceremony. You will love the experience and the coffee!❤
The taste of Ethiopian coffee is off the hook. I was put on by a co-worker. I buy the trader joe's brand k-cups.
I love short informative videos like this one. Great job.
Thanks! Love these short vids as well! So glad Brad can be there with you☺️
Thank you Bobby 👍🏼🥰 Blessings to you and your sweet family ...
Perfect video to watch as I make my morning organic coffee. Very helpful info and concise. Thank you!
Brilliant! I am ordering the stainless steel cup for my Kuerig, and I will transfer the contents of plastic cups that I already have,, to the stainless steel one. Thanks so much for that tip!
LOVE the Coffee education!!!
Lairds superfood refrigerator creamer is the BEST! Got it when it first came out and been using it ever since! Now I’m overseas and get the powdered creamer with functional mushrooms in it. With USPS delays, I’m able to get organic coconut cream in abundance. That’s my fall back creamer! Thanks for that recommendation Bobby last summer. It’s saved me here where I’m at overseas!
Bobby I try so many of your Bobby approved foods and u are spot on. I love so many of them! Thank you for looking out for us!
@FlavCity, so glad your channel was recommended in my RUclips feed! I don't do Netflix but do know how to binge on good content! Great information you're giving out. What a great service! Bravo!
Not a coffee drinker - just here to help the algorithm! 😉
Which algorithm 🤣
So do you like cheese there's lots of different great teas to drink??. Lots of people like the green tea but I personally don't like green tea that anybody that you reading this be careful with some of them green teas because they have a lot of sugar in them if they're already pre-made so they can't be that healthy for you. There's a variety of teas that are good for you that have no sugar in them at all.
And I hope you find whatever you like you enjoy it
I don't drink coffee but I love watching your videos so much so help educate others what I learn from you! :)
I just Started watching your videos and I must say I am impressed I have learned a lot since I started watching and I’m getting healthier thank you so much
Yes Bobby I’m so glad you mentioned about the laird superfood creamer. Omg the best and clean coffee creamer ever IMO. I buy mine in target
Thanks so much for educating us especially about the freezer pt., & how to & what to buy.
Thanks for the info. I recently started drinking coffee and started with the K-Cups. I soon found out how much better tasting whole bean that I freshly grind tastes. Night and day better and I'm not killing the environment anymore.
love this video and all of these tips I have learned so much. I watched this the other night but re watching before I make my trip out to Whole Foods today .. I love the tips about low sugar and no cane sugar and the other sweetness like monk fruit and coconut alternativesi your videos are very educational.
Welcome to South FL. Thanks for the coffee info. I've been doing it all wrong. Now I know better!
Great show I was just thinking of this subject today when I was in the store
Just discovered your channel. Loving it. I’m a big coffee and coffee creamer fan, so picked a great time to start watching.
great vid....so glad you covered this topic
Thank you!! I appreciate you doing all the research for us!!!! Blessings 🙏
Yes.
Great video Bobby this was very helpful!
Love the wealth of information. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks for sharing the knowledge... love the channel
Great video! I ditched the Keriug 5 years ago, such watery coffee and plastic waste. I have organic coffee, drip or french press. I add collagen for a boost. Going to try Bulletproof asap.
Love the coffee tips! I saw another vid you did mentioning coffee (acidity, etc) and drove 40 minutes to my nearest TJs and WFs. Their selections were smaller than the stores you go to. I went online and ordered Java Planet and Four Sigmatic coffees. Pretty good. I tried Lairds creamer, but I need my creamer a touch sweeter.
Great Video Bobby 👍 ☕️ Mold is the big issue with coffee and altitude. Breakfast Blend would be safer or knowing the company that’s mold free/toxin free blend such as Caveman Coffee, Coatl Coffee, Bulletproof and more!! Also thanks for pointing out the Natural Flavors it’s everywhere now!! I can’t get away from it for one item but awareness is a must!!!
Thanks for the education!
Great video and extremely informative!!!
Did not know about the peak freshness, thanks for the tips!
Thanks for sharing that Bobby, I love the allegro espresso coffee from whole foods it's the best even their decaf is amazing. And I only buy the whole beans makes a big difference in flavor like you said. Welcome to my home state of Florida. ✌️ 🥰 🌹🌞
Great information. Will be sharing with love ones. Thank you flav fam 🙏❤️ shalom and blessings
I love your videos! Can you make a meal prep ideas video 😂 I’ve learned so much from you!! I have so many food allergies and this info is great! ❤️ p.s your family is so cute!
I love Bobby Channel. You helped a lot people thank you so much
That is a great tip for a better k-cup option.
Wow now I'm staring at my K-cups and saying YIKES never thought of how bad they are for us. Will order the stainless steel holder from Amazon. Thanks again so love your Channel.
Which on did you order? I'm looking to buy a stainless steel holder also.
You are the best Bobby!!!! 😊
Love the short informative videos .. keep em coming!!
What decaf coffee do you recommend?
What’s up Bobby? Another informative video 👍🏼👍🏼
Very helpful, thank you!
Fantastic video. Thanks I love coffee a lot
This is the type of videos i like from you.
Such good information Bobby!
Hi Flavcity! And Brad!! I'm glad to know about the shelf life of the ground and whole coffee beans! Could you use a small, portable manual or electric coffee grinder and get the same great results?💕☮
Wow! Thanks for the info!
Question: I watched your Starbucks Video and wanted to see if you could tell me though a video or a comment how to make the Carmel macchiato drink. There was no brake down in the video. I enjoy watching you and entire family so and you have given much knowledge. 😀
K-Cups have the air taken out of them when thay are aessembled so the coffee is fresh until you puncture the container...thats when air can be introduced into the coffee.
I love coffee! Thank you very much! I enjoy your content.
Target has their own organic coffees. they are very good. My recommendation is the tierra del sol and nicaraguan blend. try them.
Illy, ♥️is the Best !!!! 👌🏼However, the last bought at Sprout wasn’t fresh!!!! 🤫Notice some coffee best flavor is in the middle of the tin ! Have a nice weekend to you two and family!
Luck of thecdraw. Grind beans at store and sniff.
I have been a coffee snob for over a decade and I approve this video
Love these short informative videos! You didn't mention the fridge. Can we keep the coffee in the fridge or does it do the same as the freezer?
I'm like Fred, I don't drink coffee but now I know, thank you for the information. 👌
It’s crazy I’ve been binging your grocery videos all week, and it’s already changed my life a lot now that I know about more awful ingredients I had been eating. I already was buying organic and non GMO but now I can’t convince myself to buy anything else then what you approve 😂😂😂
Girl me too 😭😭😭
SAMEEEE
i loveee coffee but I only have 1 cup per day not more. I enjoy it and always look forward to it. I just need a good creamer like what you guys have in the US. We do not get all these treats in Canada. Love the info. Thanks
Always so interesting, love It ❤👌🔝
Always hated the idea of k-cups. Thanks for confirmation.
I don’t even drink coffee but I’m listening to pass this information to all the coffee drinkers in my family☕️
I roast green beans with a Fresh Roast SR540 and use a Baratza Virtuoso grinder. Aeropress is my go to brewing device.
Holy cow. Grow it too?
Thank you!!! ☕️
Thank you so much!
Thank you for another great video Bobby! Could you do a hard seltzer review?
Bobby only likes Springdrift
The coffee game-changer for me was when I started roasting my own beans. I buy the green beans on line where there is lots of variety and roast about once a week to whatever level I want and is best for that variety of bean. So much better that store coffee!
How do you roast them? How neat!
@@Stormy_Dawn Started out using a pop-corn popper. Later invested in a Behmor roaster.
Same here, Robert. I buy the green beans from Sweet Maria's (www.sweetmarias.com/) and roast them in a Whirly Pop popcorn maker. The taste is amazing, and you will never go back to store-bought coffee once you've had it.
If you go to some Ethiopian restaurants, you can order and they will roast and make coffee for you. Messob Ethiopian restaurant in LA do that.
Thanks for the great information! Would you be able to do a short video on Caviar (Costco, Whole food brands)?
Quick explanatory helpful
I drink one cup of coffee every morning. Thanks for information about coffee.
Good stuff Bobby!!!
I love this guy.
Here’s a copy/paste of a comment I left in a past video of yours.
I adore you and I respect you, but you are so wrong about coffee blends. Single blends are single when that bean in particular stands out and is so special that blending it would be a crime. Blends happen because the roaster is trying to create a flavor profile and/or because the plantation cannot grow enough to supply for single origin. Hence why sometimes single origin coffee comes in a smaller bag. It’s the same with grapes. It’s why smaller wineries use combined grapes. They work their tails off combining and tasting in order to create their ideal flavor profile. This is why it’s an art-A true art. Also, in regards to organic, as someone who grew up in the Caribbean and whose family had a coffee plantation in Lares, Puerto Rico, I can tell you right now that to expect all coffee plantations between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn (the only places where coffee can grow) to be organic is completely unrealistic. The higher the humidity, the higher the struggle for crops. Humidity breeds pests, thus the need to eradicate them. Coffee roasters aren’t trying to cheat you, I promise. They are simply trying to help you discover new roasts and flavor profiles. I’m not just anyone, I’m a classically trained cook with extensive training in wines and coffee. I come to you for new products to try, because life is too boring to always eat the same thing.
Not to mention the fact that single origin can still come from multiple coffee plantations, but since they all come from the same country then they are deemed as single.
@@GoodandDelicious I always buy single origin
@@annaheya2109 Just because it says it’s from one country doesn’t make it single origin unless it specifically specifies, “single origin” since if all the crops come from the same country then it can be deemed as single origin. Just an FYI.
@@GoodandDelicious Aww thanks a lot I’ll keep that in mind x
He said to buy organic if you care about the environment
You are genious Bobby!
Oh man I love my nespresso. Never thought about the plastic
The Kirkland Starbucks roast at Costco is 👌
Great video!! 👍🏻
Amen to you coffee information
As a novice coffee drinker, I found this helpful. Now I just have to figure out what I like!
me too! I willl take single origin bean advice and try that next time I go to Whole Foods! love these videos!
@@LM-pk4uo As a coffee grower I can tell you that he doesn’t know much about coffee, and as far as single origin is concern, a coffee coming from a certain country doesn’t mean is a single origin, it’s just a play with words, unless it come from a particular plantation, it can’t be call “single origin”, because each plantation or small grower have their own methods, my advise it’s to try different coffee companies, until you find a flavor you like.
Some of the Laird coffee creamers contain maltodextrin. Also the keto versions still have 1g of carb per teaspoon. If you're like me, you're using way more than a teaspoon of creamer.
It would have been good if you had talked about decaf and cold pressed versus caffeinated coffee
Throw in others like chicory from Cafe du Monde...
Good information
Thanks Bobby and Brad also 😊
I prefer tea over coffee, but the content that Flavcity uploads is a must!
Bobby excellent video. The one thing that I did not notice if you mentioned or not was about mycotoxins. I loved your comment about the VOCs in the K-Cup.
But MODLY coffee is a real thing and the USA doesn’t test their coffees like they do in Europe. We buy any and all coffee.
So for me, coffee makes me sick and releases toxins from mold in me. There are certain coffee companies that test for mycotoxins in their coffee that would be the ideal one to drink.
Hope this helps someone!
Hmmm...I wonder if that’s why I can’t drink coffee? I always thought I was sensitive to something in the coffee because I can’t drink it. I used to try from time to time, but my body rejects it almost instantly and it comes back up within 2 -3 minutes. Maybe it’s not the coffee per se?
This comment would have helped if you said what cpffee you buy.
@@crabbypadty393 I’m sorry R Crabs, I don’t drink coffee all together.
I would say the Bulletproof coffee is the one to buy because the creator of it suffers from the same genetic issues unable to detox from mycotoxins
Hi Bobby I love coffee so this was fun 🤩
Yess thnx my dude alot of ❓'s . were answered here .
Brad's like your grocery store bouncer. I want a grocery store bouncer. Haha!
Why? U often get threatened at the store?!
And Brad's a cupcake.
One thing you should mention is you want to look for a roasting date on the bag. If the coffee doesn't have one you dont know how old it is and best not to not buy especially if you are looking for fresh beans.
What should we look for when buying decaf coffee? Thanks for the info on K cups.
Drink tea.
Please do a review of vacuum sealer bags ie. Foodsaver, Save Sealer, etc. Thank you 🙏🏼 in advance.
Have you tried Grateful Earth Coffee? I found it on Amazon but they also have their own website. Man, it has turmeric, cinnamon, lion’s mane and all the good stuff. You do not need to add anything to it. Just add it to hot water and stir. Try it. You will not regret it. I’m not getting paid to say this. I just love it so much.
the k cups are good for just enough to cut open and pour into a thremos and add about 12 ounces of hot water, then shake, and drink when the grounds settle so you don't drink the grounds.
Hi Bobby great vid! Can you touch on decaf coffee, and there is a big hype on mushroom coffee...yay or nay
Q:
First, thanks so much for the info,
What are your thoughts on mold and acid content?
I have been cautioned by my nutritionist to have no acid or low acid and mold free coffee. It's a bit hard to find.
I have looked into thrive market but they weren't quite sure about the coffee that they provide.
Thanks again for your informative videos
Thanks for this video! Can you do a video on matcha one day?
Yes! Do one on teas and they're purported health benefits...myth or fact plus one on quality just like this one!
It's just good to know I love
Bobby, Could you please do video on instant coffee. I get it whole coffee bean is best option, i been drinking instant coffee all my life particularly Nescafé brand, wondering what goes in those ground instant coffee, Thank you for your videos, I am moving towards healthier choices from your videos.
What if you vacuum seal the coffee beans once you open. Shouldn't that help with shelf life or not? Thanks for your great videos. You have given me courage by giving me knowledge in knowing what to look for. Had been so confusing before, to a degree, based on all of the marketing gimmicks.
I like the Bulletproof coffee brand. It’s like $ 15.00 for a bag, 12 oz I think? Not cheap but their coffee is good tasting. Origin: Columbia/Honduras.
Good info on coffee...I agree whole beans and single point origin is best! I store whole beans in a vacuum seal container and that its great! Question and feedback on Chicory from Cafe Du Monde or other providers?
Great video! Love your channel. I did try the creamer, not fan.
I love the dry, shelf-stable version of Laird’s. I always have several flavors on hand but I also use 100% grass-fed half and half.
@@BoomerLoveforGenZ I've been using organic heavy cream but I will look for the grass fed half and half next time in the store. What brand is it that you buy?
