Thanks so much I am getting back into fishing after 35 years ... always used live bait so these videos are invaluable to me
Hey Karen, welcome back to fishing! Definitely a sport that has plenty of positives about it. Glad to hear that the videos are helpful also. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
Love the videos, helps me choose and work with soft plastics. Can't get enough of your content!
Love the 101 series, very helpful. I caught a nice queenie on a 3” motor oil minnow with a 1/8 3/0 off of channel island boat ramp. First fish of the new year and first fish ever using soft plastics. 10/10 Tackle Tactics
One of the best swimbaits out there.. Made a video or review on this bait, it flat out catches fresh water bass. FLC
Great video as usual guys

That purple death looks amazing 👍
Hey Nathan, hope all's well. It has been getting the thumbs up from those fishing the fresh and salt, which is cool. I have been getting into a few on the other new colour, The Wright Stuff, so am about due to put the Purple Death to work ;). All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
Cheers Mate!
thank u justin.what about using them in salt water inshore?
Ruelly nice color sir best for salt water species
I bought a bunch of these in 4 inch size. Id like to get the size down closer to 3 inch. Would it be ok to take a knife and cut 1/2 an inch off the head or would that ruin the bait? I know I could get the 3 inch but I bought too many of the 4.. Thanks
Hey @rumcoke9123, a cool thing about the ZMan 10X Tough ElaZtech soft plastic is that you can trim and cut the plastic without ruining its structural integrity, so theoretically yes you could cut them down. The 4" DieZel MinnowZ has a belly slot for rigging though, so you would just need to check that once cut down you could still effectively rig a jighead, with enough plastic left above the rigging slot for it to be locked on securely. If you're chasing flathead, they will eat the 4" no worries, as will mulloway, mangrove jack, barramundi and a stack of other species. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
What are the jig heads at 5:34? Anyone have a link for it?
I caught my first and only kingfish on a 3" minnow and i had a big Trevally follow it to shore
Hey Vas1984, good to hear the 3" MinnowZ is attracting some attention for you and nice work on the kingfish. Cheers, Justin
What colour did you uses
The kingy was on a 3" minnow colour was blue pearl glimmer.
Ive had my most success with 2.5" slim swimz in opening night and greasy prawn though
Vas1984 thanks mate trying to chase my first kingfish land base 🤙
@@gtr0321994 ive only caught 1 and it was only 58cm lol I got busted off twice by 80cm kingies using a 4" diezel minnow but i was using my light gear as they busted up infront of me. By the time i ran to my car to get my big rod they had left
what size jig head ?
What about jighead weight and size???
what size jig head n
Can i use 4/0 hook on this 3" ?
I’d use 3/0
so why do these baits not have a belly slot???
Iam unlucky with soft plastic bait but still trying .
How on earth did you stretch 3min of information into 10....
all i wanted to see was how to rig the minnow and you didnt do it
How many videos can you make about rigging Zman lures?! 🤣 2", 3", 3.5", 4" hahaha Can you use a 4/0? Some guys use a 5. You can even use a 2. omfg. hahahaha
Hey @tomdenapoli5313, I guess I'll be making these videos as long as ZMan keeps making different plastics. A lot of anglers find them useful as they like to see how the different jigheads fit the different plastics to suit the environments they're fishing and species they're targeting. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
