beautiful video...look very tight road. how do you manage when there's an oncoming car looks like one way road :). we got a biggish camper so I am bit not sure
There wasn’t much traffic when we went so didn’t really have to deal with it. But it is narrow with steep drop offs. On a dry day you should be able to see people coming by their dust, so you could pull over somewhere safe and wait for them. Best to take it slowly and steady and let cars reverse up if need be.
AWESOME awesome video guys, have just watched the whole thing. Where are you at the moment, still North? Really hope we get to see you guys on the road one day and check out the transit!
Thanks so much. We're currently in Turangi and have just done the Tongoriro crossing, but are heading back to the Coromandel region in a week or so. That would be so cool to see you guys on the road!
@@user-vq6ku7oc9j I think the Long Bay Campground in Coromandel might allowed dogs, but double check with them. It's a stunning place to camp, right on the beach.
Corromandel Peninsula probably has the best scenery in New Zealand.
I agree! It's just stunning!
Stunning 💙 great video
Thanks Tanya, it is beautiful up there :-)
Awesome Dear❤
That open gate (haha). Can I recommend recording driving through your frames a bit more like the Ford Crossing just to interest it up. xx
Thanks for the feedback Dave, but I don't understand what you mean.
@@NomadLifeKiwi Look at one of my very first crappy videos and the ford crossing at around 0:26 ruclips.net/video/Glcim-kJP2I/видео.html
Hey, that looks pretty cool. Thanks for the tip!

Is the road as narrow as it looks when you meet a vehicle coming the other way?
@@michelangelopainters5519 thankfully we didn’t meet anybody but yeah, it’s pretty narrow

Your videos are awesome. We will be driving on our 7. meters motorhome, any driving tips as I can see its tight 🙏 but scenery is absolutely great
Thanks guys, that's really kind of you to say. Just take it easy on the drive up there, and enjoy the scenery.
Nice trip mother
Thank you 😊
Amazing scenery! Great video too! Are there any dog allowed campsites in there?
Thanks William! I don't think dogs are allowed, but you could double check on the DOC websites.
@@NomadLifeKiwi I see, thanks!
