Does the discharge ink have to be dry when you use the heat gun or can you do that right after the ink went on the shirt?

It can still be wet! And it probably should be, because the ink will only be able to perform the reaction for ~4 hours after you mix in the discharge agent, so drying RIGHT AWAY is a good idea.

So what kind of ringspun shirts did you go with?

+narutopenguingirl I like to use Anvil 980s. Good fabric for the price

+Ty Christian Thanks for responding so fast! Here's a couple more...Is the stuff in the squeezy bottle that you added to your discharge ink a water based pigment, or is it ink? ...and your scale, is it to the tenth place (.1) or the hundreths (.01)?

      +narutopenguingirl Ink. It's these here: www.screenprinting.com/category/water-based-mixing-and-pantone-inks
Scale goes to the hundredths, although I don't think it matters THAT much.
