@@maimai-xc6wu Interesting point. I didn’t think of that as the shades on his face were all exposed to the air so I figured the colors that matched best had finished adjusting. Thanks for the input!!
But the long lasting coverage is a joke. It really blended into my skin and I couldn’t tell where my skin ended and foundation started. Oxidizes and worked almost the same as my L’Oréal foundation (which is more matte and cheaper with more product)
I remember trying these! Coverage was pretty good, felt very light for a foundation. I prefer BB cream though so it's Tonymoly Luminous, or MISSHA Perfect Cover for me. I'm super happy that Korean products in general seem to be including way more skin tones. Especially when you consider that your body and neck undertone can differ from your face undertone! Everyone has special need.
I’m happy that they’re taking these first steps but there’s still A LOT of improvements to be made. I bought their testers, the ones that come in sachets. It’s because I wanted to make sure I don’t waste money and buy the wrong shade. I’m in the more light medium range. Other cushions I’ve tried had me between 23N to 27N, but TirTir’s 29N was even too light for me. And swatching 23N 24N 24W 25N and 29N on my face, all of them are so similar and still so light that you would mistake them as pretty much the same shade. Yes, there is a growing range but there is still room for improvement within that range. At least they’re trying and hopefully they’re expanding the range with the intention of catering to more people. In the beauty industry, there are brands who have a wide range of shades but those shades are such non-skin shades that it’s ridiculous. I hope Tirtir stays true to their principles and expands their range with good intentions. Clearly, they are hoping to be a more internationally known brand instead of solely competing with Korean brands that already have their foot planted as the go-to brands domestically.
I find ppl that aren't Asian calling Korean Foundation sucks so annoying. I mean there are no African Americans or barely anyone with dark dark skins, so it's obvius the company would make the foundation shades light
I 100% agree with your opinion, but for Tirtir, it’s a different case since it's pursuing global customers, not just Koreans. It was originally aimed at East Asians, like Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese, but now they’re trying to widen their target, so they have to do something different from before. But the point is, they’re all talking about DIVERSITY while having no understanding of Asians or our culture. LOL
as someone who has very fair and pink skin and can’t tan no matter how much sun exposure i get, i usually cop korean, chinese, and sometimes japanese foundations and concealers because they’re always just the right shade for me. i also love getting my cream contours from korean brands because they’re always grey or grey brown (they’re cool-toned as contour is suppose to be, not bronzey and warm like how america markets contour)
america has hyped taming very heavily since the 60s, with spray tans and tanning beds becoming both relevant and prevalent in the 80s. i come from a line of women with pale skin that only burns, so it’s nice to have an option, even if i have to pay a little more for the international shipping:)
i will say that as much as america has always hyped tan and darker skin tones, a lot of american foundation and concealer shade ranges are also pretty iffy. def not as bad as korea’s tends to be, but seldom fully inclusive on both ends of the melanin (or lack thereof) spectrum.
The shade range is still bad. They have a big jump from the darkest to the mid tones so the people in between don’t have a shade. The undertones are awful too, only 2 cool undertones for mid range shades and all the undertones oxidise to be darker and warmer so rip to us neutral/cool tones melanated peeps. Even people who have tried lighter shades have found that they were straight up yellow on their skin. The undertones are a mess with this foundation and the gap from medium to dark is HUGE, none of the dark shades even matched the model on their advert for swatches so tirtir has a lot to do to fix their product. Many people even suggest the darker shades seem rushed which I agree with because if they were thinking of dark skinned people, they’d have the right undertones and have fewer shades but a diverse range that fit deep skin tones, not just 2-3 super dark shades. This is just an Asian company thinking of darker complexions and going “super dark because that’s what all darker complexions look like”
Nice, when companies understand the assignment and do better, please keep this up. And if you find you need darker shades, I'd love to see you go with it. When I need a new foundation, I will be trying this 💚💯🥂🍾
I would be 13c because I'm Irish so we have some of the most pale /fair skin out of anyone so I would love to see this foundation on me sometimes it's extremely hard to find a color that works for me because of my shade but us red head blue eyed pale skin girlie's in love with this shade range!

I am in 13C. In general, I use Sulwhasoo foundation in 11C shade, mac NW10, and bobbi brown alabaster or porcelain. I tried 17C before, it turned orange on my face.
I got 13c (lighter shade apparently) and it works perfectly, I know it's not rare to find that kind of light foundation in Korea, but in western countries, sometimes I cannot buy some brands unless I want to look orange or weird because it doesn't match my neck ! Plus, I like the quality and the finish, doesn't look cakey at all, 100% recommend

these oxidise reaaally bad though, so it might’ve ended up a good match in the end 🤷♀️
I have one and it applies light but by the time I’m done, it’s perfect
@@maimai-xc6wu Interesting point. I didn’t think of that as the shades on his face were all exposed to the air so I figured the colors that matched best had finished adjusting. Thanks for the input!!
I’m so glad Tirtir made darker shades! I’m not that dark, I’m like a light tan, but not even too long ago, they didn’t even have my shade
I did not expect to like this, as I've been let down by foundations sooooo many times! Love this foundation!!!! Crazy good!😍
"idk who'd need a shade this light"
Me, an albino:
albinism was my first thought when he said that, one of my friends has albinism
@@dragonflies6793 I don't wear makeup bc they literally just DON'T make it in my shade
The lightest shade is my skin color 😭
Me neither. And I'm korean 😭
Their promotion game is no joke
But the long lasting coverage is a joke. It really blended into my skin and I couldn’t tell where my skin ended and foundation started. Oxidizes and worked almost the same as my L’Oréal foundation (which is more matte and cheaper with more product)
the lightest shade is prob what I would need lol well in the winter, I'm Scottish and polish plus I live in canada so I'm pretty pale
“Who in korea would actually be this light?” literally half the Korean population:
👁️👄👁️
Korean people often use way lighter foundations than their actual skin tone.
Don’t be ridiculous y’all pretend you’re way lighter than you are
@@Mrtekci97 He isn’t even pale compared to the majority of koreans.
@@babyluvv777 Have you actually been to korea? Projecting your own stereotype about what Koreans are “supposed” to look like is actually kinda racist.
@@loelds4817 yes I have been to Korea . I’m Chinese . I have seen yaal 💀
LOL
Love how they hard dark shades as most companies do not. And they all look like great undertones for the dark shades! ❤
as someone who has very fair and pink skin and can’t tan no matter how much sun exposure i get, i usually cop korean, chinese, and sometimes japanese foundations and concealers because they’re always just the right shade for me.
i also love getting my cream contours from korean brands because they’re always grey or grey brown (they’re cool-toned as contour is suppose to be, not bronzey and warm like how america markets contour)
america has hyped taming very heavily since the 60s, with spray tans and tanning beds becoming both relevant and prevalent in the 80s. i come from a line of women with pale skin that only burns, so it’s nice to have an option, even if i have to pay a little more for the international shipping:)
i will say that as much as america has always hyped tan and darker skin tones, a lot of american foundation and concealer shade ranges are also pretty iffy. def not as bad as korea’s tends to be, but seldom fully inclusive on both ends of the melanin (or lack thereof) spectrum.
This is just an Asian company thinking of darker complexions and going “super dark because that’s what all darker complexions look like”
"Idk who in Korea would be this light" it's not the people in Korea, it's me... I'm like a ghost
Same girl same, I think that even the lightest shade might be too dark/orangey for me 😫

All bc of ONE singular YT creator that did a review on this foundation, proud of her for making this happen 💗
Its so great to see korea be so inclusive? There are all shades incluing really dark ones! ❤❤
The oone you picked looks good
Darcei must be so proud knowing that she helped with getting them well known
They obviously need more darker shades, but I’m SO GLAD that they have started the change. It is absolutely amazing.
tirtir fr locked in for this
I got this foundation and once you find your shade, it’s amazing. The price is also great.
Woah, it covers up really good! I wish i had the shades, but i don't. 😭
I think the brown ones are your best matches 🥰
I love that foundation it’s my favorite 💖
I need to try this!!! I hope they have my shade, since I have olive undertones 😊
The shade closest to your earlobe (bottom row) looks like a good match! Or the one to the left of it 😊
I hope tirtir influences other brands to be more inclusive with their shades
thanks for the swatches
The seventh one is definitely 😊❤ your color
I reflect light. Like literally. So the lightlight one would work 😂 looks good!
Wow oh my gosh ur bracelet is so pretty
I love this foundation so much ❤❤❤
I know that the lightest shade is made for Suga... bro's skin is brighter than our future 😂
They also customized some super light shades with different undertones for people with albinism!
as someone who literally uses the tirtir lightest shade and it's literally perfect on me, trust that ppl who have rlly naturally pale skin do exist 😭😭
Whoever needs it you are so important and loved in this world. Think about things before you speak or do something please. Please stay on this earth and stay healthy and don't hurt yourself. You are amazing and beautiful. You deserve happiness and so much more. You are worth being here and being loved. I hope this helps. And always remember, If you need help please ask.
I looooove the tirtir milk toner it gives my skin so much life.
They finally have my shade!!! But when your black it’s very hard for you to find some shades your color
The compacts are so cute
I am in 13C. In general, I use Sulwhasoo foundation in 11C shade, mac NW10, and bobbi brown alabaster or porcelain.
I tried 17C before, it turned orange on my face.
The second row, closest to your nose looks like a perfect match.
Darcei just blowed up this brand❤
Wow! So wonderful! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
“TuR tUr”😂😂😂😂😂
I’d say second row then the second from the right looks exactly like your tone !
Either second row, second from right or third row, second from right - i can't tell with the lighting what you undertone is, but i am leaning towards the one in the second row!
I want to try!! I’ve never really found a foundation light enough for me, but this looks like it could work!
The second to last shade (if you go left from right) bellow the lighter shades is your shade i feel!
The one next to the one on your nose looks pretty good!
Him talking about how light the lightest shade is when I’m pretty sure that still would be too dark for me 😅 I’m Scottish, I don’t tan, I burn, but even compared to other Scottish people I am naturally very pale.
Honestly those two lightest shade would be perfect for me (maybe give me a little but of a yellow tint but every lighter foundation does that)
“Thank you Darcei” we say in unison
oml the 13c would be perfect for me, it is actually insanely hard to find shade ranges that include actually pale !
