Pooky bear is so sweet! And to think you will get to more made just out of scraps! Why do I feel that I couldn’t possibly make something like that? I defeat myself without even trying,lol. Dale , there you are with a broken shoulder, doing such marvellous and inspiring things! My great granddaughter will be 3 next winter, I would love to make something special for her like Pooky. Your poem brought tears to my eyes and I think I could hear them in your voice 💕
You could make a Pooky, they really are not difficult. The large beats are so much easier to make than the small ones. I am really enjoying this project. It’s been years since I have made a bear. Yes, my poem brought back so many memories for me. I sent the recording of my reading it to Jonathan… and it watered him up too! 😂😂Ah, memories… gotta love them!
What a great idea! I have sure made my share of bears back in the day, though never a patchwork one, (were we sisters in another life?), but my favourites were the tiny ones. I look forward to seeing more of this project, and yes, do what makes you happy!
