I've been listening to this track since june the 6th, 2010. I still love it. It is so uplifting and so full of energy yet positive. Right now is january the 25th, 2023 (01:03 am) and I'm listening to it while I do some computer work.
You obviously don't know a thing about EDM. There are enough EDM songs released today that are just as great as this one. And for your info: this so called 'mainstream crowd' isn't ruining anything. The music evolves itself. It's a natural process which crowds have no influence on.
@@wolterzz3267 Crowds do influence it. Evolution is based on factors determined by the times in order to remain relevant or to survive. If a producer is driven by money, status, or even plays/views, then they're going to need an audience to appeal to. There aren't many producers out there nowadays who do it because of their love for it and to express themselves. Too many cases of premixed sets and fake theatrics. Yes there are still hidden gems out there, but the majority is all flooded with trap, big room house/electro, etc. It's not my kind of taste. Mainstream and indie/underground doesn't only apply to EDM, it applies to all genres of music. Two completely different worlds. But you do you though. Just giving you my perspective on that. To each their own.
@@Yuuphonixx I suggest you pay more attention and stop following bullshit. The majority of EDM artists aren't driven by money, status or plays. They are in it for the music and the energy it gives them. They already have a status by working hard to make good music. The majority also doesn't play pre-mixed sets, but mix live. Pre-mixed sets is just a nonsense theory the old generation makes up to put the new generations in discredit. You are clearly deluded and disrespectful.
@@Yuuphonixx And no. Crowds don't influence it. It's a process that happens as time goes on. With new ages come new sounds. It has always been that way.
Fucking love this track... except how it ends. The wind down needs to not grind to monotonal percussion. Hate that part. Keep the melody going at least until the last 16 seconds. Especially with a melody like this one. The bridge is amazing. Eargasmic.
This is still one of my favorite trance tracks ever

I miss these days, when the quality of EDM was great, and we didn't have the mainstream crowd ruining it!

I agree, however this genre is called trance not EDM
This song + RAMsterdam were both 2009 and both are still bangers today. I liked this one just a little more for the sizzle at 2:40
Great tunes. Not sure if the Ram one ripped off Einar and Lemon K - Anticipation though
