I havent read the book, and i know I definitely should, but one question that has always crossed my mind is, How did Cecilia live with her family after this?? How did she face her Monster of a little sister after what she's done??? Given, i know there was nothing a woman Could do in those times, but still! The whole House would've been up in flames had I been her!

The Father and Mother of Cecelia and Briony? {she can't be calling ROBBIE a liar... since he's her son/ the one being arrested... so... who is she yelling at?} and, uhm... why is she holding an umbrella {haha} ???

Gosh, I never been hurt by a movie as Atonement broke me.I just feel so bad for Robbie and Cecilia, esp. the scene of Robbie being taken away.

Cecelia left her family after the war broke out. She cut contact with all of them. She told Robbie this in the movie as well.

i assume she's calling those accusing him liars. and the umbrella is probably just something she grabbed casually as a "weapon"
