I have a 3DOF like you, and i just cant get with the seat movers... it looks soo exaggerated odd if nothing else is moving with you. I did recently move my single monitor off the motion platform and went back to my triples. but this time the mounted on their own stand. possibly the best.. also those wheels are nice.. i need a nice formula style wheel.
He has a 2 DOF-seatmover as I understand it and you can't get any convincing g-force-effects if your hole rig is moving in my opinion, because the displacement of the body is the trick. The 3Motion system is the best motion I've tried besides my SimXperience GS-5 mit G-Belt and didn't like D-Box at all, but could be the settings that felt like on a boat or the latency.
@blacknovella It's all a question of the settings. If you set a platform mover, like my 3dof DBox system, too extreme, then it also looks strange, as if you were tilting. If you set up a 3dof seat mover correctly, it is really very good, even compared to a DBox motion system. Even my old SimXPerience 2dof motion system did a very good job. But you realise that the 3rd axis was missing when you test a 3dof system. My DBox Motion System moves my screens, for example. So my screens are directly on the simulator. The only problem is that the screens are too heavy above a certain size. With a seatmover, the screens don't move either, but neither does the steering wheel. Which has a very big effect on the immersion feeling

good point mate.. its def in a expo setting so not dialed in like we do. little goes a lot :)
