I played the hell out of the demo from the official playstation magazine and then when it was released it was one of the best games I have ever played. My summer gaming of 1999 consisted of Metal Gear Solid, silent hill, wwf attitude, gex deep cover gecko and soul reaver legacy of Kain , not bad for for a 17 year old kid living without a care in the world

Same here, with essentially the same list. Soul Reaver and MGS still hold up so damn well.

@@izzyalistair I still play The original Metal Gear Solid and it still holds up you're right and soul reaver was amazing too and wasn't it the first PS1 game to have no loading except a few bits at the start ?? Silent Hill was eerie as hell too . 3 months playing games without a care and watch WWF Monday night raw when it was good 😊😊
