An absolute need of the hour is an “in your face” onslaught on the young minds today. Only when you make these names ubiquitous, will it seed the curiosity in their minds to know more. Instead of naming buildings, schemes and monuments after politicians, we should embark on an initiative to rename existing ones and name new ones after our true historical heroes. Parenting also plays a huge role in moulding thought and reinforcement of such knowledge; which of course isn’t rocket science.
I am hopefully anticipating an Indian renaissance. Literally speaking, to bring back all our rich heritage into practice and research in modern time will certainly take the whole humanity to the next level.

An idea. Start/setup local 'activity workshops' or 'play and learn parties' in/around your neighborhood (or use local libraries, parks, playgrounds, or even a big tree!) for kids/adults. This is not a school. Not a tuition center. Not a religious indoctrination center. You can meet once a week, once a month or once in 3 months. Involve your neighbors. Set up a small library with books/magazines, make it mobile if necessary. Teach or arrange to teach English/Science/Language(s) to kids around your neighborhood. Clean the neighborhood. Help a neighbor in trouble. Play indoor games like Table Tennis, badminton, Carrom Board, etc. Let kids teach Computers/Phones to elderly! Arrange debates on chosen/simple topics and current events. Impart leadership skills into kids. Use the people power right around you. Cook together or teach cooking.
As a tamil,,i believe that sanskrit is the unifying force an language of bharat.All states can keep and glorify their own languages..but sanskrit can be the national language..we would not loose anything but gain an ancient language. ...and if it was so ..instead of writing this in english..i would have written in sanskrit and everbody would have understood..🙏🙏🙏

I have been watching your lecture series and you are doing a good job. I have a full text on mathematics which deals with the whole syllabus from class 1 to 10 except statistics, from Vedas to Aryabhata and Bhaskara. It is to be printed soon. Now NCERT is under influence from some foreigners who says arithmetic is dead and instead Podometic is to be introduced. Podo is his dogs name? See where we are. Trigonometric tables were first developed in india which were given in encyclopaedia Britannica. That cannot be with out sufficient capacity in other branches of mathematics like geometry and algebra. So now you are sure where the advanced mathematics were created for first time. That is India.

An idea. Start/setup local 'activity workshops' or 'play and learn parties' in/around your neighborhood (or use local libraries, parks, playgrounds, or even a big tree!) for kids/adults. This is not a school. Not a tuition center. Not a religious indoctrination center. You can meet once a week, once a month or once in 3 months. Involve your neighbors. Set up a small library with books/magazines, make it mobile if necessary. Teach or arrange to teach English/Science/Language(s) to kids around your neighborhood. Clean the neighborhood. Help a neighbor in trouble. Play indoor games like Table Tennis, badminton, Carrom Board, etc. Let kids teach Computers/Phones to elderly! Arrange debates on chosen/simple topics and current events. Impart leadership skills into kids. Use the people power right around you. Cook together or teach cooking.

As a tamil,,i believe that sanskrit is the unifying force an language of bharat.All states can keep and glorify their own languages..but sanskrit can be the national language..we would not loose anything but gain an ancient language.

Raghavendra I appreciate your efforts on making the world aware of the scientists that dazzled the world but are forgotten. It is true that we blindly ape the west and that we are only physically independent from the British. They still rule us in absentia in various ways. One of them is that we still use the names given by them. For example, we call country India but not Bharat. The holy river Ganga is Ganges name given by the British. A request to you to please not insult the holy river by calling it Ganges.
