As I suggested, the early tests would not represent what the real battery life is due to the bugs. We now see it clearly ahead of the S23U and number one for battery life even with a much smaller battery than the competition. I am on iOS 17.1 beta and battery is even better as standby has been improved. It may not improve SOT as much but will make a big improvement in standby which is needed.
If you checked the thermals, it was clear that the 15pm runs much cooler than the others due to using the more efficient E-Cores. So, all that nonsense from the Android community claiming Titanium was the devil incarnate, that the iPhone had poor thermals, and the A17 would need throttling now look even sillier than when they first appeared!
In his last test S23 Ultra was 10hr 30min something, so iPhone 15 Pro Max is the new king, people judged the poor iPhone 15 way earlier, but I don't blame techdroider for this, apple should have issued a fix earlier before selling the device

I have a 14 pm it has 100% battery but I don't know why it only gives me 6 hours of screen on, I have version 17.0.3 of iOS, something I must be doing wrong? Any advice you can give me, I appreciate it.
Get developer and update to 17.1 I was getting around 8h on 14pm and now I get like 10

Do you use high brightness? That is what kills a lot of people's batteries that complain they have poor battery life. I have mine at 40% most of the day, but if you have it at 100%, as brightness is algorithmic, battery life drops faster when increasing brightness. Also, 5G is a killer as it remains inconsistent, especially if you are moving around. Turn that off as you don. not need it most of the time. If you are doing a big data download then switch it on for that only.

Only s23 ultra has better battery and s22 and s21 series were bad in battery department
they had to tweak it so that the latest iPhone has the longest battery life, I'm sure all three could have same battery life but Apple makes sure this won't happen with software tweaks.

It should improve. My Pixel 7 Pro improved by 25%+. If the S23U does not improve, then it would appear that Google did some magic with the Tensor via Android 14.

My point is that these phones excel at battery. Any phone over 10 hours is amazing battery life. Apple and Samsung will trade blows throughout the year. Snapdragon gen 3 will be somewhat better and then apple will just make it way better then it will just repeat year after year. There’s a reason I would recommend 2-3 year upgrade cycle

@@dominicancutttie1212 for me the 14 pm I got on launch day was at 89 percent battery health by the time the 15 came out. The wifi kept dropping also. My 15 pm right now gets easily 1-2 hours better battery. No problems so far, no dropped wifi
