New to the warhammer franchise thanks to space marine 2 and I'm absolutly loving it! I'm a 45 year old gamer. How could I have missed this awesome universe all these years??
Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 WARHAMMER has come a long way didn't care much for the early versions but the Space Marines has gave it a jump start your character is over 200yrs old and to say he has been in many battles would be an understatement ...... the hordes of enemies are relentless as you run & gun slash & kill your way to victory
Horus Heresy: The Horus Heresy series is a massive collection of novels, and knowing where to start can be a bit daunting. Here are some recommendations for the best books to begin with: "Horus Rising" by Dan Abnett** This is the first book in the Horus Heresy series and serves as the perfect introduction. It sets the stage for the entire series, introducing key characters, the setting, and the beginning of Horus's fall from grace. "False Gods" by Graham McNeill As the second book in the series, it continues the story directly from "Horus Rising." It delves deeper into Horus's corruption and the events leading to the Heresy. Galaxy in Flames" by Ben Counter This is the third book in the initial trilogy. It covers the pivotal moment of the Horus Heresy - the betrayal at Isstvan III - and cements the events that lead to the galaxy-wide conflict. The Flight of the Eisenstein" by James Swallow This book follows the story of Nathaniel Garro and the crew of the Eisenstein as they flee to warn the Emperor of Horus's betrayal. It’s a direct continuation of the events from "Galaxy in Flames" but provides a different perspective and is crucial to understanding the broader implications of the Heresy. I recommend the 5th book in the series, Fulgrim as well. I won’t offer spoilers. Book 7: Legion. One of my favorites. A great read. "The First Heretic" by Aaron Dembski-Bowden** Although it comes later in the series (Book 14), "The First Heretic" is an excellent read early on because it explores the roots of the Heresy within the Word Bearers Legion and their dealings with the forces of Chaos. It provides essential context for the motivations behind the Heresy. **"Mechanicum" by Graham McNeill** "Mechanicum" (Book 9) offers a fascinating look at the events on Mars during the Heresy and is a good supplementary read to get a broader understanding of the conflict. A Thousand Sons Followed by Prospero Burns Starting with these books will give you a solid foundation in the Horus Heresy and introduce you to the key events and characters that shape the entire series. Happy reading. For the Emperor.
If you refer to the female soldier at the beginning, she is a sister of battle, the adeptus sororitas. I forgot her name but actually she's one of your party members in WH40k Rogue Trader.
Hello everybody new 40k reader here and I had a question, all the lore videos I have seen say that the Necrons are immortal but in this movie I see them dying so is it the soul that's immortal or what
Necrons are effectively immortal, though it's a bit more nuanced than that. The Necrons are an ancient race of machine-like beings who transferred their consciousnesses into nearly indestructible bodies made of a living metal called Necrodermis. This process, known as biotransference, granted them a form of immortality. Here are a few key points regarding their immortality: 1. **Durability**: Necron bodies are incredibly resilient. Even if they are damaged, they can often repair themselves, and their consciousness can transfer to a new body if the old one is destroyed. 2. **Reanimation Protocols**: Necrons have advanced self-repair systems that allow them to "reanimate" after being damaged in battle, making them extremely difficult to kill permanently. 3. **Time**: Necrons do not age in the conventional sense. Their mechanical bodies do not degrade over time, allowing them to exist for millions of years without succumbing to the effects of aging. However, while they are effectively immortal in terms of longevity and durability, they are not invincible. They can be defeated in battle, and certain catastrophic damage can destroy them permanently if it prevents their consciousness from transferring to another body or if it disrupts their reanimation protocols.
They are reanimated back at their base essentially. Also higher nobels have autonomy and sentience, but most of the rank and file soldiers are mindless automatons
Humans wear thick armor and are tied to servant machines, the question is what if they want to go to the toilet 😅 It is true that the fantasy in the film is very interesting, even though it doesn't make sense, it is still interesting.

When I'll become 45 years old I'm going to say the same but Warhammer 40000 actually is my biggest mission when it's about gaming 😄
I been actually caring about lore for a change lol
43 here. I stumbled across a 40k lore video 2 months ago. I've been watching nothing but that since 😅
What makes that even crazier is that it all started from a tabletop game, I think.
Watch warhammer "dawn of war 2"

I don’t remember these female soldiers in Warhammer
Battle sisters…..
Bot agenda
No one can stand men kicking ass any more. It goes against the agenda of de masculinity of men in media. Look what Disney is doing to Star Wars.
Not in the games
If you refer to the female soldier at the beginning, she is a sister of battle, the adeptus sororitas. I forgot her name but actually she's one of your party members in WH40k Rogue Trader.
Fantastic work
You are chosen by emperor's grace among thousands of nominees!
Now be glorious guardman soldier!
Emperor may protect you
Mind some of this is Warhammer fantasy but still pretty awesome
Waaaaw this is awesome

It's not an easy answer. As sometimes they are teleported back to their base prior to receiving a killing blow iirc.

I thought it was built in the suit.

I would rather be a space marine than a citizen of the United States in 2024.
you would most likely be a guardsman
Is it that bad in the USA? However I would also be better a space marine than a citizen of Ukraine, at least I would be more useful in this case.
If there's no.pain
@@serhiyserdyuk9087 right now, yeah it kinda is. Hopefully that will change in a couple weeks. But I’ve never seen people this divided, ever.
