Love it. It's like a lost OG Xbox/PS2/Gamecube videogame with a new coat of paint. Very charming despite its budgetary constraints. All of it fits the IP quite well.
one thing I didn't like is how underused the soundtrack is, like one of the first levels there's an epic moment where it kicks in but that's about it. rest of the music feels pretty generic. like I seriously wouldn't have cared if they just did the movie soundtrack on repeat the entire game XD

IT'S THAT THING THAT YOU KNOW FROM THE MOVIE! COOL RIGHT?!" It's just the developers constantly trying to distract you so that you don't notice that what you're playing is a slow-paced, subpar shooter that would have already been considered dated and boring 25 years ago. What's really sad about all of this is that it actually worked. People still think this is a great game, because 'references'.
What do you think makes the original movie a classic that the game didn't get? I mean even the fact that it's clunky and dated tracks with the original movie.

Exactly! If there is an IP that fits feeling like a dated, B movie or game, it's Robocop! It's all part of it's charm.
