- PIzza in NYC is on another level haha! It was 91 degrees outside but the pizza line was still out the door! Definitely worth it though. We got the pizza after church and then we shopped at Foot Locker for Noah's birthday "dream shoes". Thankfully Marc was able to find them in Harlem! Then the kids did a fun collab with @QuarantinedQuartet quartet in Central Park. A fun & busy day in NYC. :)

Happy Birthday to Noah! 🎂🎈He has a really nice fashion sense. Also, a shout out to Chloe and Noah for being such caring siblings. They seem to be a little more on the quiet side (well, from a RUclips vantage point) but they are so sweet in taking care of the little ones. Also a shout out to Elijah for always stepping up and meeting the need for his dear family. Naomi, Elijah and Noah were awesome in their musical performance, as always. Just incredibly talented and humble people. You all make the world a much kinder and happier place.

Shout out to Enoch for walking all that way in that heat and rubber boots. His feet must've been very hot and sore. Poor little guy. I understand you moved there for your older kids, but I do feel bad for the younger ones having to trudge through the streets of New York. Do they ever get play dates of their own with other kids or activities their own ages ?

Happy Birthday, Noah! The pizza looked delicious. Netta is growing quickly. Tavern on the Green is iconic. It is nice a few of the children could meet up with other musicians. They sounded great. Another fun outing. It is nice you can be together on Sunday. I hope Pearl is enjoying the music camp. All of the children are learning city ways. Shout out to Enoch. He isn't old and he isn't young. I still don’t understand why you don’t use compact strollers for the littles that don’t want to walk, it sure would be better for the ones that have to carry them.
The subway steps and curbs are pretty tricky with a stroller but it would work in some places.

Very interesting to see your family maneuvering around NYC en masse like that. Looks difficult but you do it. Do you truly feel at home there in the city, or do you miss the west coast?

..interesting how where u live in the world makes such a diff on lifestyle/time getting to and fro places....we live outside Vancouver, B.C. and almost all the places we go to we can either walk to or drive to in 5-10 in. We only drive into Van for the odd medical appointment with a specialist................

I wanted to know why he was even allowed to wear those rubber boots on the hot pavement in the summer.
@isolde1802 Amber said that he does have shoes, but he chose to wear these rubber boots and they let him... Silly. Because at some point, parents who are older and have more common sense should guide a youngster and not let him just decide on everything.
Yes he has Nikes at home but thought the boots were easier to put on😅
@@TheHappyCaravanAmber, Nike makes a very lightweight sneaker that are slip-ons, great for the warmer weather! We have the same problem with “easy to put on” shoes with our little guy.
Sometimes littles just want to wear what they choose, and it’s not worth a tantrum or fuss for them to wear or to do it our way, if he’s uncomfortable he will remember that next time!

We just use our phones and it charges us for the first 12 trips and then it’s free the rest of the week.
