  • The continuation of my new Turkish series. We look at How To Deal Lens Flare. It is a longer video than usual - shot on location in the Black Sea region of Northern Türkiye.
In this video, I shoot on location and give examples of ways to overcome or eliminate those pesky specks of light. Such as using a lens hood, using specific lenses designed to reduce flare, blocking light and directing the camera angle away from the light source, or timing your shots better!
"My new series (upcoming) is in collaboration with Luminar Neo. I have been using the Easy-to-use software for almost a year now - as I looked to incorporate elements of it into my workflow and my editing process.
There are many aspects in the package that would suit an architecture and interior photographer's workflow, like HDR Merge, Focus stacking, Panorama Stitching, and so much more! However, it was the colour grading tools that I primarily used in my workflow for this new work.
You can use the software as a standalone product, for cataloging your photos, or as a plug-in, which is what I was doing to add it into my post-processing. Skylum (The creators of Luminar Neo, of course) currently has a HUGE second-anniversary sale - and you can pick up the software with huge discounts. You can check it out through my link here: l.skylum.com/Kerwin
However, we can make this a whole lot better! USE "Kerwin10" at checkout, and you will get a further discount! Which of course, makes this an INSANE deal!

Yes - I am on the search for a location for this. It might have to wait just a little longer for my Romania trip!
