    Good demonstration. Could be really useful for a practical katana that you don't want to replace.

    I just sharpened my katana with 600 grit wet sandpaper along the edge with the sandpaper folded on both sides. It worked great, but did I mess up the geometry?

    Forgot to mention, I'm using a stone not sandpaper. I'm sure the results are similar.

    9:36 wet with normal water?
    but the sandpaper is visibly dry

    If you have a natural hamon line does this affect it? Not exactly sure how this affects it

      The auto body sandpaper gives the appearance of whetstone use which also brings out hamon hada granted it's not better the quality stone
