- epic apache mission in medal of honor. When i first played this on PS3 i never seemed to like it and it seemed hard, yet replaying it again on PC I actually kinda like it.

They saved Adam's squad, Dusty saved them. One hand washes the other. This long 3 part mission shows the foundations of a powerful team.
Deuce took the shot, not Dusty.
How to mix realism and first person shooters perfectly. Such an underrated game and its a shame to know that Medal of Honor has been discontinued.

Honestly, I would pay if they did a Full Remaster of their games with updated weapon animations like Call of Duty did for their Modern Warfare Campaigns!

I'm not sure if having 9K rounds for an apache's 30mm and 308 rockets for the hydra is "realistic", but yes this mission was nicely made.

There's realism and then there's too much realism. Gotta focus on the fun factor too my dude.
How about using hellfires to take out infantry? Seems like a waste of ordinance if you ask me

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, that round count is more appropriate for a squadron of 64's
I never could figure out why this game recieved so much hate. Thought it was a good campaign and really enjoyed the MP

@Jack Marston Child Not soldiers. The first game is primarily based on events that happens and the storyline was written by actual operators that served in Afghanistan.

.ostly because people didn't like that you played as Taliban In it. Also it's competition was too known at the time so it had no exposer

@Shadow Equinox na man to me call of duty has never been close to realistic. They are fun fast paced shooters that hopefully the new modern warfare will change up. But to me this game just feels way more realistic with the sounds of the explosions the chopper sounds and gun fire. Plus imo the radio chatter is so much more realistic and I just love it. If you feel differently then hey man good on you but these are just my opinions 🤙🏻

The soundtrack on this plus the mission itself was the best part about this game, I miss it so damn much.
5:53 I find it hard to believe two Apaches would have opposing final attack headings due to the ricochet/frag fan
One of the best war games I've every played
I have to question the logic behind getting that close to targets with RPGs and in some cases AAA. It seems to me that the Apaches would have the advantage in effective range, so why not use it to at least soften up the area first?
Cause gameplay is more fun that way, but you're right they usually stay atleast 3k meters back and 2k in the air to prevent small arms and have time to react to SAM and RPG's

You get a trophy if you level this whole area before bugging out. Did not know that my first pass through. Your previous upload (Chinook Extraction) is one more level right after this, and is my second favorite mission. Thank you for the love.
Miss this game. There was a time when story missions was like beatyfull. Wish ghost recon was like this😊
apparently the 30mm on the apache can snipe targets 2500m away and has a 20m blast radius around every shot
People say Dark Souls is hard until they play this mission and fail it 90 times because of the tunnel.
Chilling in those valley with yr boys, without knowing the Apache gunship is watching you...
Thats why medal of honor is good game
I would loved to see a more "gory" deaths when you get them with that 30mm

They radio transmission beeps give me flashbacks to the combat operation days in IRAQ when I was on my tank....nonstop radio chatter whenever troops were in contact in the city...I was part of the heavy QRF (4 Abrams) that would go out and handle business whenever things hit the fan. JAN-DEC 2005, TF 101AR "Dragoons", MND - North. FOB Summerall, Bayji Iraq. I was part of TF 2-7IN BN (B co 2-7 IN BN, 1st HBCT 3rd ID). We also had 10th SFG and 1-187 "Rakkasans" from Campbell with us on that deployment. It was the worst deployment of all 4 of my deployments (including the push to Baghdad).
Those birds are way too close to each other and they keep making passes in front of the other while engaging targets

nine out of ten strike missions in the AH-64E Apache Longbow multi role attack helo gunships are always engaging targets at danger close . . . Hat's off to them . . .
wicked part is this mission was based on the real event, dont know the details but I like to think this is how it kinda went.
Read “Not a Good Day to Die” by Sean Naylor. He talks extensively about Op Anaconda and the Aviation Regiment in support to include the Apaches.

3:00 make it easy on yourself, use the slower firing, slower traveling missle rather than the cheaper, more plentiful faster firing faster traveling bullets with massive splash damage.....
