The Solution Focused DNA

The workshop talk will present the work and results from our upcoming book: Women's perspectives on the Solution Focused Approach: International Applications and Interventions, a book where no one before have either focused on gender as a factor, nor have worked or formulated ideas around a Solution Focused DNA. We will share casework and personal
stories from the book, leading to our conclusions on the single components within the SF DNA as they show up on the three levels: personal, professional and societal. Finally, one could wonder: Are there elements that are included on all three levels, and which inevitably must be said to be part of both your and my SF DNA. You’ll have to join the plenary in order to find out.
BIO
Jacqui von Cziffra-Bergs is a Psychologist from Johannesburg, South Africa and teaches Solution Focused Therapy and Solution Focused thinking. Dr Jacqui von Cziffra-Bergs was an associate professor at the University of Johannesburg and still teaches at universities across the country on a consultancy basis. She has lectured extensively on Solution Focused Therapy throughout South Africa and in the United States. Dr Jacqui has written 5 books and her latest book for Routledge is titled: Women’s perspectives on the Solution Focused approach. Dr Jacqui is married and has two sons that keep her feet firmly on the ground.
Anne-Marie Wulf runs the Danish Solution Focused Institute, founded in 2016, from which she offers a 3-year training program as Solution Focused Master Practitioner accredited by IASTI. Anne-Marie is an international teacher, trainer, and supervisor, in addition she’s an author: her latest book for Routledge is titled: Women’s perspectives on the Solution Focused approach to be published July 2024. Anne-Marie has presented at numerous conferences in Europe, former board member of IASTI and current president of EBTA.
