    At 27:44 you said to point our pointer finger gun to our face but since the field shows that it’s into the page according to the circles with a dot in the middle of them, wouldn’t that mean that the force (middle finger) is to the left and not the right. Thank you so much for this video. I'm taking electricity and magnetism in university and love how much information you went through in such a short video, great work and great explanations, better than my professors! I wish schools would give us an overview of the course before going into details because it seemed pointless to study point charges, electric fields, electric flux etc without knowing their impact, although, after watching this, it is clear! • @WeAreShowboat

      E = -dV/dr, dV = -E dr
      To prove this, derive V with respect to r:
      V = kQ/r = kQ * r^(-1)
      dV/dr = (-1) kQ * r^(-2) = -kQ/(r^2)
      -kQ/(r^2) is essentially just -E, given E = kQ/r^2
      So from there, we have:
      dV/dr = -E
      dV = -E dr
      I hope that was helpful!
