I'm not sexual active, and I already know a lot STDs. and Whitney is right, back in the day you only learned about STDs after you already had one. It's important to educate people so they can make the right choices for their own bodies.
I saw this as an ad right now, I didn't realize that it was an ad until I got half through it. Watched through the whole thing, darn this is a good ad...
Haha if you were handed a brochure about STDs or a smoothie cup with STD facts on it, which one would you actually stop to read? Sometimes you gotta put the info where people are already looking!
i went to get tested with my boyfriend before we became active and the nurse at the front desk was totally judging us and staring at us. so it is kinda embarrassing. i just used an at home test that i bought online instead. i knew i didnt have any stds but i wanted to go with my boyfriend so that he wasnt alone.
Ive been married to the same woman for 10 years. Ive been tested 3 times twice before marriage, and once a few years after marriage. . Im good. Married a virgin Mennonite too.
I think people are better off getting a significant other, getting to know eachother, getting an std test and then proceed to have sex. It may seem "lame" but one night stands and sex with alot of people (even if you use condoms) can cause a lot more harm than clamidiya and ghannarea which can be treated, unlike HIV, Syphilis and many many more...
We wanted to partner with Whitney Cummings cause she's freakin AWESOME. Definitely grateful she wanted to help us spread awareness about sexual health!
Getting tested yearly or as needed is so important but it pains me to say I think a lot of people don't get tested because they don't have healthcare (for americans anyway) :( not everyone has access to Planned Parenthood and furthermore the organization is constantly under attack
Kayla Geyer a) if you don't have something nice to say, don't say nothin' at at all. b) you make the assumption that every guy is going to cheat. That's why I'm going to pick the right guy, a guy who loves Jesus with his whole soul, a guy my parents believe will take care of me (and I trust their judgement completely considering they've been 100% faithfully married for 24+ years), and my husband and I will take measures and make boundaries to protect our marriage.
Kayla Geyer a) yes, of course you have free speech and you're technically allowed to say whatever you want, but it would be kind of nice if you tried to not act like a cynical child. It's just common courtesy. Just because you're dealing with crappy stuff in your own life doesn't mean you get to take it out on others b) in my original comment, I was referring to the idea that most people get STDs and STIs because they sleep around with 20 different people, who have in turn all slept around with 20 different people, so you have this cesspool of germs and bacteria that cause all these diseases, and all I meant was I'm not even entering into that because I'm being smart and keeping my legs closed until I'm married. Additionally, there is a huge difference between someone who is religious and someone who has a relationship with Christ.
Miss Becca Anne, it's my experience that in Christian communities where women save themselves for marriage, the guys don't. I have three good friends who all waited, and literally none of the guys that they ended up marrying did. They all have relationships with Christ, etc. etc. and they didn't wait. Maybe it's seen as a "guys will be guys" thing... but anyway, point being, if the man you marry isn't a virgin - which he may not be, even if he does have a relationship with Christ - you should get tested (or have him get tested before you get married).

This is a great way to show awareness about std's!
I wouldn't mind having a talk about this over a free smoothie, great idea! keep up the work!
To be honest, if someone told me STD facts after giving me a smoothie I'd question it's ingredients IMMEDIATELY.
Yeah a smoothie with a cup covered in info about Gonorrhoea - not so tasty.

This is honestly a great way to spread awareness! Wouldn't it be great if these vans just popped up everywhere.😂
What an amazing idea to raise awareness on an important topic!!

What a way to almost ruin a smoothie, lol
Did you choose her for the fitting name..? Cool that she took the time for this, being a high powered business woman.

Whitney Cummings talking about STD's
I wonder if there is a place to meet women, who have recently had an STD test. =D
Those people must've been so uncomfortable, especially if they were alone
