I would like to point out that the buffed traverse speed is there because of the lost power to weight ratio essentially mean the traverse stay the same.
That’s incorrect, the traverse got buffed for real. Check the effective values on tanks gg, the traverse speed is always accurate when based on the stock engine and track modules.

@@Juliocarlosmb QB misunderstood how it works. If you upgrade your engine module or put on turbo equipment, effective traverse speed goes up. If you go back to a stock tank, it goes back down. But the base values always stay the same, and that’s what the patch changed. The V4’s base 25 deg traverse speed is equal to the effective value, without adding equipment or crew skills.
It's still ok. I never understood how an extremely armored TD can yolo with that speed.

@@ivanhristov898 SU-122-54. Good mobility, good gun (same as T-10 top gun if I remember correctly), but paper armor.
bobject pre nerf was like you were either going to do 2k damage or 8k damage. kinda no in between.
I honestly think I might play better with this version of the Bobject, only because I was always way too eager to ram someone when I had all that speed, and I would end up playing like an idiot.
I mean, I always play like an idiot, but even more so.

My X obj 263 was my favorite tank it was so underused people didn't know how to shoot it. It had good dpm with 8.5 sec reload with 550 alpha (if i remember right). I loved to brawl with it in city maps.
Its a mere shadow of what it once was.
And that's great.
The shadow is much better for the game.
Please draw the same hatch for the chieftain and object 279 as now for object 268/4 and this can be called a nerf. not what they did

The Problem is not the nerf itself, it needed one. The problem is the way WG "reblances" tanks.
After a nerf, they just dont make fun anymore. Bulldog, elc, 268. All had fun aspects und were nerfed in the discipline that made it fun to play.
ye same story i had 11 games 1 win 10 loses 3k combined in is-6b i was close to 3. mark at that time and marked it with this session, could have got a higher score if not the teams died in 1 min ^^

I rushed to finish field mods pre nerf. Boy am I happy I did.
Well bobject mark dropped so much that 3-marking in from 93% to 95% took 3 battles (after second one I was on 94.84%)
But in general, typical wargaming is to make an unbalanced tank, pump money out of players to upgrade it, and then nerf it
And it works so well too so I don't even blame WG. I blame those players. It's their fault for being dumb.

@@sandboy5880players aren’t being dumb that’s just a typical money grabbing company. Yeah what they are doing works because players don’t exactly have a choice. Active players, people who enjoy playing are going to want to play the next updates and get the new tank. No one wants to wait a year or so to wait and see what happens to the tanks that are added in an op state. It’s just wargaming taking advantage of the community.
They shouldn't have nurfed the speed. Maybe they could have nurfed the gun even more, make some weak spots weaker or whatever but not removing the fun part about the tank(ramming).

Tank with that much armor going 55 or even more km/h was literally breaking the laws of physics. If it still isn't.
look im a huge bobject fan, the most fun thing in this game was platooning double 268v4 with my mate and creating 3min games by rushing and demolishing a flank haha. It was so much fun ramming meds and playing like a baboon and still getting 65% winrate. But lets be honest the tank was too fast for its armor and needed a nerf, i do think that WG overnerfed the speed tho

That thing really has more armor than my gamer wrist and yet is still going 45 km/h.
It's almost as good as it used to be in onslaught.
If they nerfed the gun more the tank would be borderline unusable. The current gun is already a pain in the ass enough.
@@sandboy5880well I wouldn’t say it’s breaking the laws of physics. Irl the IS-7 was fast asf. And it was just as heavy if not heavier than the v4. The is-7 is pretty quick in game for a heavy tank. But it wasn’t unreasonable for the v4 to be reasonable quick.

I really can not understand why everybody is saying:"this tank needed a nerf", in my opinion it was not hard to pen, also the only point of this tank to exist was the speed with its raming power. Why should u play this tank now? It has nothing special to offer. Armour is not reliable, speed is not good enough to give easy firstshots and the gun can not hit a skyscraper in front of it. Play e3 or minotauro instead or if u want speed and armour go with is7 or 277.
I disagree, I play both the is-7 and the v4. I haven’t played the nerfed v4 yet but when I did I bounced ALOT more in the v4 than I did in the is-7 the armor was more useable for me. Esspeicaly since its under plate was so tiny. But yeah I’m disappointed that its speed was nerfed. But I feel like its specialty before was being a heavily armored fast hard hitting frontal tank. Being fast was a big part of it but not all of it.

No point to play this while E3 exists. Speed was its only good thing.
You are funny. E3 is garbage after its nerfs. Its gun is like an FV now with accuracy its way to slow, traverse is terrible, roof is paper, and the gun takes forever to aim in...fail yo aim for several seconds on a stationary target and your 375 pen will bounce a light tank or leopard 1...after the 5th game that happened i parked the e3 and have not used it since. 264 is far superior to e3 even now.
the e3 only makes sense if you can play a map where you could just sit there...
I mean the v4 is still pretty quick for what it is. When I played what I used it for was a heavily armored frontal tank destroyer that could easily bounce and out trade the heavy tanks with my TD pen and alpha. I’d roll up with the heavy tanks to the front line the speed was a nice touch for it.
The E3 is still plenty slower than it but yeah.

I didn´t take wg half a year to realize the initial bobject was to strong. they just figured that after half a year of its original op state that the vast majority of people spending free xp, using gold to convert free xp etc already have gotten the tank so now that no more potential profit could be made from it they started to nerf it.
Let´s not pretend WG is anything but a greedy driven company that has absolutely no remorse screwing people over, making the game worse for prolonged times just to squeeze the last bit of money out of it.

@@bloke755 From my experience at least 50% of the playerbase in wot are severely mentally underdeveloped or have been used as a basketball by their parents at a young age. You will struggle to find a community with an equal amount of so many simple minded individuals which wouldn´t even qualify to take the short bus.

I don’t feel like the gun is strong enough in relation to other armored TDs, it is still most unreliable and derpy of any of the conventional TD guns at Tier 10. I can accept a slower bobject but not with the same old derp gun
Just spam the HEAT like WG wants you to and then you don't have to aim that much anymore.

And ordinary is good for the gameplay. Glad they've FINALLY nerfed this shit. Too bad that they don't need 4 years to decide that WOT+ is "unbalanced" as well. Maybe that would stall their greed.
Hits more and better than my Grille 15 with .21 dispersion fully aimed. Simply the stats in this game are fake. And still has 293 and 360 heat while the crap Grille has 279 and 334 heat. Grille has much much worse gun handling. Has any sense it false turret is totally netralized by its gun stats. They need to fix this shit specially because Grille needs compensations for being pen by HE. And worselly: Grille 15 cammo stoped is worse than Obj 268v4 moving. It is totally inverted and its terrain resistance is worse than obj, even being about half the weight. It is a joke that need to be fixed.
The gun depression is arbitraty same as gun elevation that is only 15 degrees god know why.

This video is so out of my experience game to game in this tank. My experience is everyone just loads gold and shoots me in the face for easy pens while I'm trying to aim since the gun is a typical russian troll. I wish I had skipped this line. My E4 bounces more shots with the same level of crap accuracy =)
You started with 8t buffs and suddenly you bypass turtle and jump to x tier. It's a bit out of order and it's a shame, I was counting on a movie about a turtle

Well i mean the bobject was annoyingly oppressive. It was so fast and had almost unpenetrable frontal armor. You could pen the kapola if you had good aim and t 9 or 10.

To those here in the comments saying it's pointless to play now over the E3, it's mobility is STILL better than the E3, and the E3's gun, while it hits harder yes, is still derpy as fuck.
Everybody saying the Bobject is no longer worth it after it's well deserved nerf, you are Part of the problem. Everybody who knew what to do in this tank was an annoyance to play against. It was and still is a brawling machine and has still one of the highest winrate's of all Tier X Techtree vehicles... some of y'all are pretty damn delusional in saying the tank didn't need the nerf, or it's not worth grinding anymore!

Compared to e3 it's not worth playing anymore, better speed but not that better to be worth after the nerf, worse alpha, worse armor. V4 is not irrelevant but between 2-3 stars out of 5 now. And wg's reasoning to bring a unique td in place of old 263 is now finally 100% in the trash can. Old 263 was always much more fun and unique to play, while also being well balanced
