@Ashreeful He was into the music in his way, a way which doesn't suit the way I hear it in my head and also by cellists like Fournier or Tortelier whose versions suit for me more to this musik. It disturbs me the overloaded theatral affectivity in the lubricated exgerated phrasing with sudden descrescendi or pianissimi "à la parusky", which have nothing to do with the poetry of Dvorak's music, but with some kind of external phisical excitation someone intends to induce in another person. . .
How poor cello soloists were without this grand concerto! He plays a 1711 Strad called "Duport", but I once read his favorite instrument was J.B.Vuillaume´s copy of the same instrument.
@taizecellist i didn't say it was better, i said i like isserlis' version better... this has nothing to to with who did a better job, just with my personal opinion!
He was surely best cello player ! We love him. Rostropovich Foever!!!!!

Is the conductor Carlo Maria Giulini?
I'm sure that explains how you typed that message.
No, it's really Giulini! Google "Rostropovich Giulini" and you will find it.

The sound is wonderful, but the picture of this part has a lot of artifacts. It may be better in high definition.
@MrVincent537 im pretty sure the conducter and rostropovich thought about that longer and deeper than you lil expert did. btw nice spelling on
"show".
@taizecellist i didn't say it was better, i said i like isserlis' version better... this has nothing to to with who did a better job, just with my personal opinion!
Hehe, you're excused! ;)
I'm not really that capable myself.. Norwegian.. Hehe! :)
@MrVincent537 way too many big words dude......
You're kidding.. Right?
I mean, you really ought to know that Dvorak has been dead for 100 years now.. :D
It's Carlo Maria Giulini, I looked it up! ;)
AH, but I suck at english so I tought that Conductor is the same as Composer ^^
Hehe ok, Scandinavian m8. Me Swedish ^^
LOL it's Dvorak
