Thanks for watching! This was my very first attempt at making a ring in this style. I spent over 60 hours on it! I realize someone with more experience could’ve made it look much better (and probably taken them less than half the hours). But this was still an amazing learning experience! I didn’t get any training and just figured things out as I went. I didn’t do a voiceover because I didn’t want to give any bad advice. This is just meant to be a relaxing video showcasing the art of jewelry making. Enjoy! :)
Adding this new skill to an already impressive list of talents has to be a wonderful feeling, especially since you learned it in the pursuit of everlasting love.
I miss doing lost wax castings, from carving to polished metal it really is therapeutic to me, I really need to get back into it because it’s an art form I truly love and miss. Very nicely done.
I love lost wax casting videos. It's been years since I've had the change to do it myself but it's so incredibly satisfying to watch. Gorgeous finished product too!
Patrick Adair, you are a true artist. The amount of passion you have for your craft shows exquisitely in your finished product. You are different from any custom jeweller I have ever met or heard of. Please, keep your passion... It's a beautiful thing.
I would say excellent work as always, but this is your first time making a ring like this? That just makes this way more impressive. You did a fantastic job.
Been watching and admiring your work for a while. Your skills are expanding. Thank you for sharing this, the result is very nice. Your friend will appreciate this more by being made by your hands.
For it being your first go at it, this is awesome. I wish mine would have came out this good my first attempt. Looked like I designed mine on an etch-n-sketch.
hi! just wondering where your engraving ball is from :) also, if you find yourself wanting to do a lot of future cast jewelry especially with higher detail you might want to invest in a centripetal caster, they really add a level of accuracy to casting.
Not bad for a first attempt and im no ring maker but I have a suggestion if you dont mind you have all the right tools for the job so I suggest you watch Bobby White and Pablo Cimadavilla I think that's spelled right, amazing jewellery craftsmen and both have great RUclips channels you should get all the info and tips you need off those guys or do that amazing jewellery course in Texas Alec Steele did it and got seriously good at jewelery making just a couple suggestions pal great video well done 👍
dude i was just thinking the same thing. im sorry but this ring is not that great looking. it was done with too much free hand bobby and pablos work are unmatched. i think those 2 shit on even the celebrity jewelers like johnny dang and trax nyc, all those jewelers that do rappers pieces..
very good attempt for a first time ngl, looking forward to watching u try more and get better and better at it. id try 100 more times with or without stones in so u get the hang of making the ring mounting look as good as can be.
How do you get the wax out of the mold if been thinking about getting in to lost wax casting nice ring btw just a shame about the cold shut on the gallery
Well done it looks good but try and holding the ring in your fingers on the bench peg it gives you a feel for the metal where the lines have to meet and helps with simitry also a great tool to have especcialy for jewellers are vallorbe buffing needle file sets makes clean up so mutch easier plus it gets your pieces looking so mutch better and profesional
I know you’ll probably never see this but I really miss you talking in your videos. I like to hear you explain it. But I love everything you do. Thanks.
Wow.. true artistry. This is why ww must pay for the time and dedication invested. All those tool cost alot of investment. So Is it wax the mould? And what metal was the prong setting? I always wanted to be a jeweller/ gemologist / goldsmith. Unfortunately my families financial circumstances (mum was a disabled single parent) couldn't permit me to study. The setting of the stones is tricky. Ive seen diamonds damaged on the girdle part, due to too much pressure
Im no expert but you should look into how dental crowns are made made. My dad does it and he has some of the most amazing crowns and bridges in th the world.
Loved this! The style really reminds me of Pablo Cimadevila's videos. I like how you went real traditional working methods with this one. I've given you some shit about it before, good to see you challenge yourself. Maybe have missed it, but have you thought about using a 3d printer in the process yet?

Patrick Adair Designs still probably one of the sickest rings I’ve seen!
I think it looks great! Your work never disappoints!
Adding this new skill to an already impressive list of talents has to be a wonderful feeling, especially since you learned it in the pursuit of everlasting love.
Patrick Adair Designs it would take 6 hours to just hand make it?
Hey Patrick how much would it be for you to do one for me to give to my girl friend
I miss doing lost wax castings, from carving to polished metal it really is therapeutic to me, I really need to get back into it because it’s an art form I truly love and miss. Very nicely done.
How did you learn this style of lost wax carving? Would love to see more informational/step by step videos on this stuff!! Awesome ring!!
Will Lloyd Don’t know what this comment is saying/asking but it sounds smart so I liked! ❤️💯

Dude amazing job!
Thanks man!!
If I ever find a woman, you know who I'm getting my ring done by.
It's the same reason I'm asking, because I'll probably be getting married this year, and would like to buy this jewel of a ring!!!
Check out bobby white's channel...
I’d go with Pablo Cimadevila.
@@Lazarus_ he's super too
@@CaptainBroadSword have you gotten married yet
So much more than just a piece of jewelry. Beautiful job
Not my style but damn that took alot of work! I've never seen u use this working method before. Also moissanite is a great choice.
I would say excellent work as always, but this is your first time making a ring like this? That just makes this way more impressive. You did a fantastic job.
Thank you!
Simply amazing. Always love to see a Patrick Adairs video on a beautiful sunday evening.
Really glad you're getting into fine jewelry. I enjoyed the video immensely. Thanks for sharing your talent.
How can you make such beautiful rings i just found you channel two days ago and i watched all videos impresive
Channeling a little Pablo Cimadevila. Love the change up in style.
I love the Pablo Cimadevila style. Don't know if it was intentional or coincidence but it's amazing.

This is stunning! Just beautiful!!
Interesting way on setting the side gems
That's really impressive man...by George I think we can safely say, you are officially The RingMaster!!
I really like these kinds of videos, not really talking, just the process.
hi! just wondering where your engraving ball is from :) also, if you find yourself wanting to do a lot of future cast jewelry especially with higher detail you might want to invest in a centripetal caster, they really add a level of accuracy to casting.
Awesome for your first piece. Much easier to do a lot more finishing in wax before casting.
What an absolutely beautiful ring! I really enjoyed watching the process.
Looks pretty amazing but I’m still looking for that Halo Reach ring
Beautiful ring, a lot of work went into it!
Ugh again another awesome ring!!! Great job! 😍
Lost wax casting and wax modeling takes a lot of practice. Great job on your first try 👍!
Every Kiss Begins With Patrick!
First of that video is amazing and secondly you are on my list of what to give my mom.
Looking beautiful 😍
How hard is that wax? It seems to take some rough handling without deforming.
Love this video, lost wax casting has always fascinated me
Beautiful ring. I hope she said yes
very well, I applaud the effort, with practice they will be better every day

bobby white is the best option coz he makes it all by hand and doesnt cast anything
Ger Kinsella Pablo is an absolute beast of a craftsman.
I love both of them!!

Or we can just refer him to the immortal experts at Van Cleef & Arpels. 😌
what a gorgeous ring ❤️
Great job man that thing is so beautiful, as always love the content.
How can i place a order for that??
It might be on his ring website that is linked in the description. Apart from that I don’t know.
@@Spuds0the0Potato it's not there i checked it
Plot twist he's proposing
Time to take some advanced classes. Your well on your well to being at a professional level!

Hi can I ask what metal you used?
Stud! Good job

Beautiful
I'd like more videos of this style
Will this ring be in your website as well??
Wow amazing.
You've come a long way Patrick. Keep at it and I'm sure you'll be putting out some amazing stuff.
This is next level stuff man! Keep up the good work
Well done. Once again a great ring
How much would that ring cost?
beautiful
You are the best !!
I know you’ll probably never see this but I really miss you talking in your videos. I like to hear you explain it. But I love everything you do. Thanks.
Where do you get that gold from?
Great job, post more videos
This is beautiful I love this style ❤️
Very nicely done! Is it possible to do more complex designs this way as well?
You should check out Pablo Cemadevilla on youtube, amazing jewellery artist. I think this video was HEAVILY inspired by his work, video-style-wise
is this type of ring supposed to look this rough? it seems like it's very sloppy and could use a lot more filing.
He mentions in the comment that he's aware of some of the mistakes he made because it was his first attempt
There was a lot of gaps where the gems were placed. That's probably what he needs to work on the most.
Thank you👏👏👏👏👏👏
Out of curiosity, how much would you charge for a wedding band/ engagement ring?
Perfect
I'd love to see you work with something like abalone, since it isn't a gemstone or a metal! I think you could make something really interesting!
It reminds me alot of Pablo Cimadevilla...
And i like that
I was Looking for these Comments. 😊😂
Pls do more simple rings

Man this takes a long and you put so much effort in Good job. I just want to congratulate you keep up the good man. 👏🎉
What happens to all the gold/silver that gets polished away?
Perfect, size 6 please
Does anybody know the name of the first song? I listen to a lot of instrumental music and that sounds so dope
Im no expert but you should look into how dental crowns are made made. My dad does it and he has some of the most amazing crowns and bridges in th the world.
Please make more rings with diamonds
Love it
I loved it! Your first time and u did great!!😍🤩
Can you make the ring from sorcerer apprentice
My first thought was Patrick is getting engaged and I'm like 😱😱😱
That's a Beautiful piece it looks just like Angelina Jolie engagement ring she got from Brad Pitt
Loved this! The style really reminds me of Pablo Cimadevila's videos. I like how you went real traditional working methods with this one. True master
Reminds me a lot of Alec Steele’s video
How much ?
This is so beautiful, I always love watching these
So Who's the lucky one
No glow powder?
Awesome
Why not 3D print
you are masterful
question; why not use 3D printing?
My goal for this video was to learn the techniques. Not necessarily find the easiest way to make a ring like this.
Name of song?
Your castings are improving, good work! This stuff is super tedious.
Hi, this is Teresa👋Nice to watch 👋👋👋
